Install these on my 2003 Silverado 2500 HD. The original ones broke and my leaf springs begin to chatter. Installed these and quieted them up like a charm.

One of these broke and disappeared on the first trip with the camper on. I set the airbags so the overload spring bumper just touched, after the trip it was gone.

They fit in the rear springs of my silverado but, they just slipped in and dont actually snap in. I had to bend the tabs out a bit to get them to bite and they were still barely staying. The box said 4, only 2 were inside (which I expected). I blame that on dorman, not the seller. Seller did fine, dorman screwed this one up.

They will work very well, if you spend some time reducing the dowel diameter down which is quite simple & drill small hole for stainless steel cotter pin to retain them in place. looking forward to achieving this soon.

I jacked up my truck at the front spring mount bushing and stuck a pickle fork between the springs to open them up far enough to pull out the worn-out spacer and put in a new one. Some have complained about their new spacer falling out. Well, drill a hole through the bottom and put a pin in it to keep it in place. The whole process took less than 10 minutes and it shut up my squeaky leaf springs. Thanks Dorman.

These are a great replacement for the OEM parts that tend to fall out with age. Things get noisy without them... TIPS: You need to get the load off the rear axle to make clearance. If you have airbags, they work GREAT for this. I added some black silicone to hold the new ones in better. Time will tell if it works.

The stem is too small so the spacer is sloppy and could easily fall out.

If your Chevy or GMC truck leaf springs are making a clacking noise on big bumps (e.g. speed humps) this is what you need. Look at both ends of the lower leaf spring on both sides of the truck and you'll probably find a couple of these missing. Easy to install, just use a pry bar to make enough room to slip these into place.

Chevrolet could not supply these leaf spring insert cushions seperately, you would actually had to purchase a complete leaf spring! After much investigation, and almost giving up, I found in Amazon! Dorman products made inserts separately! I was pleasantly surprised! From the time I ordered, to the time UPS delivered, (free ship)' 4-5 days, I had parts in hand! They were correct, well made, and exactly what I needed! Hats off to Dorman Products for producing the part I needed....and Kudos to Amazon for supplying the logistics! I will always shop Amazon first! Ted D.
