This product is not reliable at all. I bought two tests and both came out positive. I took my dog to the vet and she is very much not pregnant. It is a waste of money and creates unnecessary headaches. Do not purchase.

My dog had not been showing any signs at all of being pregnant until 3 days before her appointment to be spayed. 60 days before we had visited my parents and their dog wasn’t neutered. There was a lot of interest in each other so we diapered them both and kept them apart so her actions were very confusing. I ordered the test with next day delivery and it came up positive within 4 minutes of putting 4 drops on it. A few hours later, she started lactating and I had to shave her long belly hair because it was getting all stuck together from it. I took her into the vet because I needed to find out what to do with the spay appointment and as soon as they saw her belly they said she’s pregnant but at most 2 pups because she is still really small. We changed the spay to an X-ray to see how many were in there and found out she was having a false pregnancy. She was definitely going through all the pregnancy stuff, just no pups. This test definitely recorded the pregnancy hormones present correctly, but there isn’t a way to confirm if anything is actually in the oven without more tests.I’d say this test works as advertised, detecting the relaxin hormone, but dogs are weird and will force a full on fake pregnancy to get out of going to the vet for surgery!

Definitely works. Easy to use. Just like a humans. As long as it’s easy for you to catch their urine. Although ours popped up immediately and it says 10 minutes. It didn’t even take 1 minute.

This product gave a quick false positive reading. I bought all the supplies to ensure a safe delivery of puppies. I went to her vet to confirm the pregnancy and it was determined she was not pregnant. I was relieved, however, it was a very inaccurate result. Plus on the outside of the box the work quick is misspelled.
