Xlarge for a 14 pound mini dachshund fits perfect.Had to trim the ends of the straps a bit and burn it so it won't fray.It does not rub under his short legs and give him skin tags Bought one in 2021 so time for a new color.Leash isn't the strongest looking so we still use the old one.

I got this for my dog because it looked much more comfortable than the original harness he has. I got this, it worked for less than a week, then the Velcro started to get loose and the buckles kept coming off. The color and decorations were good, but I still didn’t like how it just came off. My dog is that type tat would just run off, so I didn’t feel comfortable with him wearing this harness. He is still wearing the harness we had before we got this, and it’s works just fine.

Tengo dos salchihas de 5kg y la talla L les quedo excelente, me encantó que tiene velcro y seguros adicionales, me siento muy segura al salir al pasear y mis perritas se ve que van muy cómodas, la correa también esta bien, me gustaría que pusieran un elástico para el excedente de cinta en los seguros, yo les hice un nudo y listo pero sería ideal que lo agregaran al diseño.

I like the design of this. I have a 15 lb dachshund. I bought the large and medium for him. The medium was to small. The large is slightly to big around the chest and neck. I kept the large. He looks so handsome in. I seems to be made well. I do hook hook his collar to the hook on the harness. If he sees a large dog he takes off after it. He has broken a different brand harness in the past.

So, after searching with the term dachshund harness and measuring twice, I will say this; this is NOT a harness suitable for dachshund anatomy. Miniature Dachshund’s have larger chests comparable to their size. Do not be fooled by the mini dachshund in the photograph. My 9.5 lb. male fell well within the chest measurements for the large however the Velcro barely closed over his chest. So this harness is just barely functional for my dog.Oh well, the price was inexpensive. The harness is made of a canvas and it’s cute but the leash is very flimsy. May have to return.

Good quality harness, but leash is very poor. After some research and reading description we ordered size L, but unfortunately it’s too small for our 4 months standard dachshund puppy.After first delicate wash it lost its colours and now after one month of usage it looks like it’s been used for a while.Need more information regarding the sizing. If it would be more clear and easy to understand then would buy the right one.

I got the size large for by small 6month old dachshund puppy, and it fits perfectly. All other harnesses that I have tried have rubbed under her armpits. But this harnesses doesn't rub at all, it has a very soft texture and excellent value for money too. I would definitely recommend this product if you are finding it hard to find a harness that doesn't run.

So, I bought this for my aunt's dachshund who recently had spinal surgery. He needed something that was easy to get him in and out of and this looked perfect. And indeed it is. Just not for him. It actually fits her much smaller dachshund mix. The one I bought it for is a pretty big boy and has a deep chest. She measured and I being an optimist because this was so cute, had hoped that him being an inch bigger than the XL size description wouldn't be such a big deal (the photo says 17", but the purchase link says 19"-21"). The straps look adjustable, right? No, they are not lol he wound up having about a 3" gap on the chest band, while the neck band fit. So we tried it on his sister who measures 15" around. And while it's a little loose on her, it's snug enough that she won't pull out of it. It also looks really nice in person and seems to really protect the dog. The bands are wide and feel plush. The velcro is pretty strong and the buckles seem sturdy. My aunt had a thing about the little lace trim being kind of girly but I thought it looked nice with the overall design. So, we're keeping it. It just won't go on the dog I was hoping it would.Just make sure you measure and go by the photo sizing (in my case, an XL is for a 17" chest girth dog).

Perfect fit for my dachshund, at last I’ve found a harness for my dachshund have looked for a long time for one that doesn’t go under the front legs as my dog doesn’t like ones that go under her front armpits! Now to measure my cross to get her one!

I love the color and it looked studding on my Maltese, however, the under belly fastener barely made it. I only tried it on her over the weekend, she didn't get a chance to wear it I ordered a large because depending on the style a medium for her can run a little tight. I am interested in returning the Large and purchasing the Ex-Large. Addendum to previous review: The company ( Muttitude) graciously offered to send me the XL for free. I received it on September 15, 2019, on a Sunday; what a surprise. The new harness fits like a charm. Do yourself and pet a big favor and purchase the product. Just be careful when selecting the size, as previously stated the harness runs a little small.

I like the product.....well made and appears to be comfortable and fits well. Unfortunately when I went to place the order after returning the first GOA, which was too large....the 3 color choices were in a different order and I automatically order the last one to the right, which was GOA when I ordered the first one. (can't see them very well....so small). It was the Pueblo, my list favorite.. Bummer. The GOA is adorable. Please note, the size between Large and Extra Large is a little extreme. My mini long hair is 12 lbs...she was swimming in the XL. The L is a tad snug unless I pull straps all the way to end of buckle. That was my experience anyway. Still think it's very cute and easy to put on, stays put, doesn't hinder at all.

This harness looks great on my little black and white dog. She had it on today and it looks so smart on her. It is nicely made with hook and loop closure and a plastic clasp for security. The inside is soft and does not irritate her delicate skin, or make her stop to scratch; yay. This is designed for small dogs and when it arrived I was able to fold the hook and loop so that it fit down to her size. Now that she is a little bigger it fits better but there is still room for her to grow. We are very pleased with this purchase. The quality is good and the price was just right. I'm sorry I don't have a picture of her to show as it is very cute.
