I got this for my dog on our long walks under 50°F. His ears used to be so cold but now I am not worried about his ear freezing. Easy to put on with the Velcro. Material is stretchy but not cheap feeling. There feels like a thicker material inside. Then an adjustment cord so the item doesnt cover his eyes.

Bought this for my 45lb small dog. It stated in the description this was for use with a hemotoma so I bought it to keep her from shaking her ear to allow it to heal. After two days and trying everything I can it just does not stay on. I thought with the velcro and the tightening band on the top it would be a better option then the ace bandage I was using. I was wrong. If you want to keep pulling it up and putting it on every 10mins then fine but definately not worth the money spent or for use for an actual issue such as a hematoma.

This is exactly what I was looking for! My dog has long and floppy ears, so I was using a pull-on snood for mealtime to keep her ears from dragging in the food. It was just a hassle putting on and removing the pull-on, she was good, but it wasn't her favorite thing to do. This hoodie has velcro under the chin area for easy on and off, and a drawstring to adjust the fit. So glad I tried it, just what I needed! And my dog doesn't mind it at all.

I used it for my dog for new years and I don't think it helped he still was freaking out.

A good value for money. I like that it is adjustable so she can not get it off.

I decided to try this velcro-closure dog calming hoodie after using a well-known brand made of thick, snug terry cloth for years. I typically use a hoodie while blow-drying my dog after baths to muffle the noise and soak up moisture around her head, ears, and chin. While the name-brand version works, it’s very tight, and my dog clearly hates it—she turns into a tense statue, staring daggers at me throughout the drying process. This hoodie offers a different experience. It’s still very thick and absorbent, providing similar noise reduction and moisture-wicking as the terry cloth hoodie. The key difference is the design: the gathered fabric and adjustable Velcro closure under the neck provide a secure but less uniformly tight fit. This made a noticeable difference in my dog’s demeanor. While she’ll never love being blow-dried, she seemed more relaxed—her eyes weren’t bugging out, and she didn’t give me the same intense glare the entire time. That said, this hoodie may not be ideal for dogs that shake aggressively after baths, as the looser fit could allow their ears to pop out. It’s also worth noting that the reflective dots feel unnecessary—this isn’t something you’d walk your dog in. However, I can see it being useful for anxiety during storms, especially when paired with a snug ThunderShirt.Overall, this hoodie worked better for my dog than my previous option, and I’m happy with the selection. Four stars because it won’t work for all dogs or situations, and has unnecessary thick plastic reflective dots, but it may be a great option for dogs that dislike overly tight grooming hoods.Afterthought: I did choose a black hoodie, and my dog is black, who knows I might use it as the base for a doggie Halloween costume in the future.

This was the alternative choice to dog ear muffs ;p The price on this is much more affordable.Highlights:- velcro is the shorter type so it sticks well but grass and other debris won't get stuck in it- velcro has a good hold and doesn't stick to the material of the hat (so no worries about snags or pilling)- material is very soft and breathable (but hopefully not so thin that it won't muffle some of the outside noises >- the reflective patches on the left and right sides are a nice touch- no complaints from the pup during/after initial use ;pFit: measured my pup's head according to the sizing chart instructions and his noggin' measures 18". I got him the Medium size, and it fits well. I could've probably sized up to a Large and the velcro would have still closed, but I wanted it a little bit snug so it would hold his ears down a little closer to his head. He has big, tall, pointy ears (sorry, not sure what breed he is >He gets skiddish with loud noises and thunder storms. Calming chews/drops weren't working and the tranq stuff from the vet was a little too strong for him. Bought this for upcoming New Year's fireworks...last year we ended up tying a small blanket around his head like a bonnet and it helped calm him a little, so hoping this hat does the job.**UPDATE: 12/31/2024 --> Still stand by all previous comments. It seems to have held up well so far. Wanted to share post-firework madness...didn't seem very effective at blocking out such loud noises. He was still reacting even if we folded down his ears under the wrap lol If anything it did keep him warm and comfy. Might need to keep looking if it's for extreme loud noises or if your dog is extra sensitive. One thing to note -- it did slip down a handful of times (size Med, 18" head). It's not because he was pawing at it or anything...it would fall backward onto his neck like a gaiter just from walking around or just from lying down and getting up off the couch/dog bed. I could've tightened up the velcro, but didn't want to choke him. I think the Large would've allowed more play with sizing, so if on the borderline or sizing, maybe consider sizing up (depending on head and ear shape too I suppose).
