I purchased this for my parents boat for Christmas and did not know that their Boat needed afishing pole hole for the Rod to go down into. They just tried to put it in their boat and realized that it wouldn’t work. I wish that this item would have specified that they needed a fishing hole to make this item work for them. Now it is too late for a return. Hate that I wasted $200 on a gift that doesn’t work in a standard chaparral boat.

Used it for memorial weekend, it worked well when we were at the sandbar. But for when the boat was running we had 2 full yeti 30 oz cups fall out of it, for a $200 price tag I don't think this should happen. I can't comment on long term durability but the plastic seems to be a bit flimsy.

This unit fits right into the fishing rod holder on our boat and provides several slots for holding bottles, cups and other bar items. Works well and stays remarkably in place.

Wow! I have been searching for 2 years for some type of resolution for not having drink holders on my Zodiac RIB. I can say that this is the perfect solution to mount on the back of my leaning post seat. Easily removable and will stow under the seat.

I bought the Docktail bar for my dad for Christmas, but we live in Michigan. We won't be using this until June. Feel free to ask for another review mid to late summer when we've actually used.
