Did not use on the bike specified, decided to change my non-sealed bearings on my non-branded bike. Works well enough, though my fork had a slight taper so probably not 100% set...For the price, works well enough!

It was very easy to install it took no time at all. The fit was a bit more lose than I would have liked but nonetheless it looks fine. It’s definitely a value for money since it’s not the most expensive. If you’re looking for a new bike part I suggest starting here.

All the bits and pieces including in this set are of good quality and install fine with one minor issue. The lock ring that holds down the fork and bearing in place is thick and tall. When you press down the base cap (medium in this case) it rests on top of this ring and cannot sit flush with the bearing. Secondly, there is no rubber gasket or lip under this base cap like some other headsets. Combined, that leaves a gap of 1mm exposing the bearing. A slightly thinner and shorter lock ring would solve this problem - or just use the one that you may already have from previous headset.Apart from that, machining of all the rings, bearings, caps etc is perfect. I have used Neco branded headset expanders many times in the past and they are excellent. This headset is no exception either. The bearings are smooth. There are no rough edges anywhere on any of the components.Depending upon the frameset you might not even have this problem with the gap, so I am going to keep it at 5 stars.
