This is my favorite disk to throw with my son in our backyard. It might not be regulation but we love the grippy feel and that it won't hurt the hands when it's cold out. It withstands washing wonderfully, and is easier to chuck in a backpack than a rigid disk too. The blue color is a little tough to see at twilight, we've noticed.

If you play/played Ultimate, know that this is very much softer and throws somewhat differently. I wanted it for throwing in Sub Zero weather, and even hitting trees at those temps it has held up great.

I bought two frisbees. One for each of our boys. They are excellent frisbees. They're pliable, and don't hurt your hand when catching them. These frisbees fly straight as well. If they come warped, I read that it could be put in hot water to readjust it. We never had to do that.

I am blown away by the soft version. Just got it in the mail. Went out with my neighbor to give it a try and we BOTH feel that it flies truer and farther. I know that sounds crazy, but I'm dead serious. Next time I go to play flatball, I'm letting the other guys and gals give it a try. I hope this soft version becomes the norm for Ultimate. I doubt it, but I'm optimistic. My forehands flew flater and rolled over much less. I'm sure some people won't like it, but I bet you most will. I really hope this replaces the regular UltraStar

Very stable in the air, and flies a long way. A lot easier on your hands than harder disks. If you throw infrequently this softer version is really nice.
