Narrow angle of view, not made for video recording, doesn't say anything about movement sensor so, I won't complain. The picture is not practical for security because if the person behind the door is moving you will never see it only fuzzy image, needs a lot of light and it will run out your batteries quickly, multimeter reads 1.2 watts with the screen off and 1.8 on

Oh my Gawd! I love the concept of this component, just what I was looking for, so I could monitor who's loitering outsidey door, taking my packages or putting nasty liquids on my doorknob. Concepts great, if only the product worked like the concept implies. This device didn't work well, not even with full new batteries, no clear directions on how to use its features so I was trying to learn on the fly and by error which isn't a good idea because you really don't know If this tap will delete something or move you forward to view captures or if you just deleted everything. It's so messed up not to have clear detailed instructions in paper form that's readable and you don't have to be an ant to view the instructions. Even if on the screen you could be shown with clear instructions on what you are doing, where you're going confirm before an action. I gave up on this thing. It captured a few people but didn't capture a whole bunch, many times when it should've with full batteries. I stop trying to figure it out. When it was time to change batteries, I replaced them but the device never worked again. $40 rip off, total disappointment, I want a refund or allow me to replace with a different brand or model. I may have passed the time I could get a refund or replace which I'm not well with. This may be the $40 rip off that got me to cancel my Prime account possible my loyalty to Amazon for my shopping loyalty. Make this right Amazon. No value for money.

This camera has a clear picture on the screen. It is not a sensor camera you need to take the picture by pushing the button. No video

The quality of picture is very grainy. You have to press the button if you want to see who is at the door. No motion sensor. I will be upgrading.

Overall not too bad, but the instructions could absolutely be better. What does "Rationalize the cable" mean? These foreign manufacturers really should have a native speaker of whatever language (in this case English), review their instructions and make corrections.Nowhere does the box nor the instructions inside state what size drill bit is needed to install. Maybe there is an assumption that you're replacing an existing peephole viewer? I don't recall reading that anywhere either.I went off of the instructions on a different peephole viewer from Menards, which said 9/16". I had to go to two different local hardware stores to find a 9/16" bit. THAT aspect has nothing to do with this item except for the lack of that piece of information (drill bit size), prior to setting out to install the thing. Thankfully that was just barely the right size. This next should be well known to anyone who does any cutting and drilling on wood, but start drilling with a smaller bit to make a pilot hole, and work from each side of the door to prevent chipping and splintering one side where the drill bit exits. I worked up four consecutively larger sizes until I got to 9/16”. Start one side with each larger bit, stop part way through, and then begin again from the opposite side of door. The included instructions sheet also has many directions for an entirely different model of viewer that has more options than this one. This begs the question how to actually access the features of this viewer that does not have any of the same buttons. Some orientation marking on the camera portion would be very helpful. I had to connect it to the screen and turn it on to figure out which way was up, and then rotate it.The included screws are only to mount the bracket to the camera piece, and I had to cut 5/16” off of the shortest ones because the camera is longer than my door is thick, and the screws bottomed out before they snugged the bracket to the camera. There are no screws included to attach the mounting bracket to the inside of the door, but thankfully I have many.I will likely have to do an update to this when the seasons change if the camera lens fogs up in very cold or very hot weather.

This does the job, but I'm disappointed that I can't see much detail at night. Was hoping for a crisper view.
