I do a lot of work in bramble and trees where my arms need protection, but it's too hot for long sleeve shirts. This is a great compromise, because it's very lightweight, but still offers protection from all those twigs and branches without feeling too hot.

I like that they have a pocket and want long sleeve shirts along with a shirt that keeps you cool, but also protects you from the sun's rays. And, these shirts are very comfortable and durable.

Fits as as expected. More companies should offer pockets some of us do wear glasses.

Light weight, comfortable neck opening (not too tight), nice long arms. I do insulation work and this is probably the best work shirt I've ever had. Just ordered 4 more so I have a full week's worth. My only complaint is that the marker slot (though a nice touch) makes the rest of the pocket just a little bit too tight to fit my tape squeegee easily. I may end up ripping out the dividing seam. But yeah, overall fantastic. Worth every penny.

This is a great shirt and has lasted me a long time. Comfortable to wear to the gym even. Overall I’m impressed by these shirts and recommend them to work in. Only issue I had was the cuff came a little lose when a thread became undone, but it still functions well.

long sleeve with a pocket that actually works and is well built. The color is NOT atomic neon yellow, but a faded tone of yellow. So you don't look like a prison road cleanup crew! But the yellow is good because it is good visibility and reflects UV quite well. The material is slightly heavier than a simple cotton t shirt material...light enough to breath, but not so weak it will not stand up to wear. A good deal and arrived quickly. All new tags, not material or sewing defects. the color and arm fits and cuffs were sewn. I use these long sleeved pocket t's for outdoor work in the south louisiana bayous where the summers are incredibly hot and humid. I don't know how well they will stand up to mud and dirt stain, but that's not very high on my list of needs. This shirt looks far better built and breathable than almost all other shirts I have worn. I would recommend buying a size larger so the shirt wears looser and can breathe better.

Yes, I meant to shout the headline : ) This is one of those products that deserves all the five-star ratings & rave reviews.I bought this shirt for outdoor workouts in the heat & humidity of Florida summer. I like to walk or bike on my lunch hour, but I'm inconsistent about using sunscreen for my midday workouts, so I felt my usual tank top left me a bit exposed to the harsh sun.I don't care what the material makeup is, they left out black magic & voodoo ; ) I thought wearing a long-sleeve shirt in the midday Florida summer sun would be unbearable, but with this shirt, it's not. The material is incredibly breathable: I can feel every puff of breeze on my arms & torso. I've never had a shirt that breathes this well. The moisture wicking fabric really does pull the sweat off your skin, I feel lighter and less "soaked" wearing this than compared with a tank top.The overall protection is remarkable: I can feel the sun roasting my neck & face, but the rest of my body is very cool & comfortable.I was skeptical about how a long-sleeve shirt would feel while exercising in the sun. I've seen fishermen & roofers wear such shirts, which got me thinking and Googling. I'm glad I found the Dickies shirt and am thrilled with the purchase. Cannot recommend highly enough.

A quick dry shirt should be 100% polyester. These are 50% cotton. Disappointed. Will keep as a regular shirt for colder part of the year but won't work as a sun shirt for cycling. Way to hot.

I'm a fan of this manufacturers products. I already had three of their long-sleeve hi-vis yellow t-shirts that I bought at Wal-Mart last year.I like to wear these in the Summer too, but Wal-Mart and other retail stores around here switch to all short-sleeve t's for the Summer months.I looked at the manufacturers website to see all the offerings they may have, as obviously Wal-Mart only carries so much. I found these on Dickies website and they sounded perfect, so I found them here on Amazon and bought five all at once. I didn't even try one out before I had my wife wash them all, which now I'm regretting a bit.First off, the comfort of the fabric is very nice. Today is my first day wearing one and it is only up to 82 degrees, so it is too soon to tell how well these will perform against my others from Dickies and the many others from various manufacturers in the heat.My biggest complaint so far, and the main reason I gave it only 3-Stars, is the cuffs. I freakin' hate oversized cuffs that have absolutely no elastic or spandex-type material. These flopping cuffs bug me to no end and I can't believe a company like Dickies let this happen. This company usually understands what the working man wants, but they clearly didn't bother to do any market research when it comes to cuffs.I'm not asking for long cuffs, or cuffs that cut off your blood circulation. I just want a little bit of elasticity to them so they are not flopping around all day long. I actually have longer arms than most for my height, so this is not a case of my arms being too short. 90% of the XL sized shirts I purchase, from cheap to expensive, fit me great in the arms. The only real problem I ever have is when there is no elasticity to the cuffs.I can handle sleeves that are a bit short or a bit long, as long as they have a little bit of elasticity to keep them from flopping all over. What a true disappointment this is, especially since I bought five.My only other complaint is the logo on the pocket. I have no issues at all with the pocket having Dickies written on it. I just happen to prefer when they have the simple name 'Dickies', not the silly horseshoe or boot print, whatever it is. Totally just a preference thing for me. I love almost all the clothing, socks, etc. that Dickies offers, I just don't like the silly horseshoe logo and prefer it not be on my pocket.
