This is a fun craft kit for kids. The small projects are simple and quick. There are a lot of fun pieces to add to each one. The colors are bright. The only thing is that on the butterfly, there are a lot of open spaces with no gems. Unfortunately, this makes it easier for some of the gems to fall off.

Not what I was expecting, but still decent for the price. The kids spent maybe an 1.5 hrs making this, while watching a movie. So it did keep them busy.I was expecting the numbers to be on top of the mold so the sun can shine through and the gems sparkle but that’s not the case. The molds are acrylic with a colored design and circled numbers inside the mold. Each side has sticky tape. You peel off one side, apply gems and then repeat on the other side. Since the tape covers the whole side, the crevices between the gems are still sticky. I feel like it will attract dust, dirt hair and anything that will stick to it. If you hang it outside, you might find gnats or flies attached to it- so I guess, be aware of where you’re going to hang it until the stickiness dulls out from being exposed to air. The kit does come with the gems, sticky pen, clay strip (helps pick up each gem and apply it to the acrylic mold) and gem holder for application. It doesn’t come with a case. So after you open the gem packets, you may need to get a baggie to put them in or the gems will go everywhere. You should also seal the gem packets with tape so they don’t spill out and you forget what number/letter they are.

Item arrived quickly with all the pieces and parts. We loved it. We assembled the products per instructions and everything is holding together nicely. No defects pretty impressed. Nice selection of colors as well.

This is a decent set of diamond paint wind chimes. Calling them "wind chimes" is a bit of a stretch; they're made from acrylic and there are no chimes to speak of. They come in the shape of a butterfly, a sun, a hummingbird, a heart, a moon, and a tree. The product photo kind of overdoes it a little with the "sparkle" effect, but they do look pretty when you put them together.It comes with all the supplies you need; a tray to put the diamonds in, a plastic pen to pick up the diamond and place them, a block of sticky material you put on the tip of your pen to pick up the diamonds, the diamonds themselves, some colorful plastic beads and plastic "gems" reminiscent of a chandelier to hang off of the acrylic shapes, and some hooks to hang it with.If you've never done diamond art before, it's a simple brainless-yet-strangely-cathartic activity. It's a little like paint by number and a little like cross-stiching; you just plop the right diamond and stick it to the right place on the acrylic shape (the spot will be identified by a color/number/letter). If you do it right, then you'll have a nice display piece. Plan on splitting up the job over a couple days or week—and you definitely need good near vision and good fine motor skills—children who are too young won't have the patience or the motor skills for this.They look nice in the sunlight, and can even make good gifts as Christmas ornaments when you're done with them. I wouldn't necessarily give the kit as a gift, as the packaging does look a bit cheap on the outside. But I give them credit for a complete package with decent quality pieces.

Ohh this is so cool. I love that it's more than just "diamond painting" and that we can hang the charms and crystals on them, too.It comes with 3 different "paintings" and has everything you need. It's lots of fun.I do, however, suggest getting a little box to separate the diamonds. Because you'll definitely need to put the "leftovers" or the "ones you need later" somewhere and they're not going back in the bag it comes in.

My girls are very into diamond art. We have some larger projects that are multi-day. These are great as they are small enough to bring to a restaurant or a friends house, and be entertaining for one night. Gems and designs are easily labeled. The tacky glue is sticking well.

There are lots of small pieces in this kit, so keep it away from anyone who likes to put things in their mouth. For the rest of us, it's a fun kit with lots of pretty, shiny pieces. I love the hummingbird and butterfly. I also love that it's a kit to make suncatchers, with all the lovely little gems and parts that you need included. Each of the different types of gems are separated into different bags, but you might want to have a way to keep them sorted once you open the bags. While this type of activity doesn't involve a lot of creativity to do, it is rewarding and a fun way to pass the time.

I am excited to see these finished! They’re so pretty! The kit has a variety of gem sizes and colors. There is a set of large iridescent gems that act as weights at the bottom of each bead strand. It comes with everything needed- one tray, wax square and pen. There are 17 different diamond colors; each mini bag is labeled to match the acrylic pieces. I already ordered the other style of sun catchers that they offer. They’re very relaxing to make and so rewarding when complete!
