These have a wider base than most of the SMA F to BNC F adapters out there. Much better fit for the Anytone 878 antenna base. Doesn't leave a big gap.

SMA female plug fits snug into the radio. The BNC connector is a little too long. You will notice that immediately as soon as you plug in your BNC rubber duckie antenna. It works OK, but the height of the BNC connection is noticeable.

I did desire to make them less apt to rotate when detaching the BNC antennas, so I also bought some rubber washers- https://a.co/d/gIIkrQF - which fit perfectly.

I liked there's 2 in the pkg, just wish it was a 2pk of 1 SMA M TO BNC F & 1 SMA F TO BNC F... Also 2pk/4pk of 1 SMA M TO BNC M & 1 SMA F TO BNC M. All in silver/chromed nickel, or black/gold

These work great on a baofeng uv-5r. Just screw them down and you've got a bnc connector for an antenna. Then you can get the Signal Stuff Signal Stick or the Radio Made Easy Signal Stick antenna. Good antennas, but they only come in a bnc format. Bnc is stronger and quicker so overall it's a win win.

I got tired of screwing and unscrewing my radio from a traditional SMA connector. So I switched to a BNC adapter, but it stuck up and I was worried that the extra leverage would crack the radio's built in SMA connector.When I discovered these I became very excited. While shorter than a traditional SMA to BNC adapter, they also have a flange that helps spread side loading of the antenna to the radio's body. They fit perfectly and are working great on my UV-5R, UV-82, and my Anytone HT. With these I can easily switch between a rubber ducky antenna and the antenna's I installed on my car and my bike. This has made my HTs much more usable as a result.
