Nice little cleaning rod. It works very well on hand guns and magazines. I no longer need to assemble and disassemble all the little rod pieces when cleaning more than one firearm. I just reach over and grab this if I'm working on something that is compact up to medium sized. It's becoming my go to.

Though it’d be a bit long, but it’s actually a pretty idea length. Non spinning and non coated rod. Perfect for chamber cleaning. Rod is visually showing wear, but zero nicks or scratches. Make sure to only brush in a clockwise direction or else your brush or mop will unscrew. Sometimes the mop will get stuck super tight after cleaning, but nothing a little squeeze on the mop and a twist can’t do.

Excellent cleaning rod! Brass shaft, handle does not rotate, threads are female 8/32", which fits most all cleaning brushes & jags. Made in US.

Dewey makes great rods, I have a couple of their bore cleaning rods, which have rotating ball-bearing handles, but that's not what you need for a CHAMBER brush. This is a chamber rod, handle does not spin, allowing you to use a chamber brush and rotate it by hand to clean out the chamber. It has the standard threads and is a great addition to your cleaning needs. Chambers are easy to overlook, but important to clean.
