They can't bother to put the heat shrink properly and not leaving exposed terminal? I sure don't want to have any unwanted shorts. Value is like 50% more expansive than generic one ...

Before ordering this you should make sure that it is the proper type of adapter that you need. These connectors are commonly used for airsoft and RC cars. I use them for airsoft. Initially I thought that maybe this adapter would help me change my batteries with the Deans T plug to work with a mini tamiya airsoft replica but once I received them, I realize they are meant for a different purpose:These adapters allow you to charge a battery with a Deans T plug using a charger with a Tamiya (not mini) connector. My charger has a universal Tamiya plug output which you can attach a number of different adapters. The one adapter that didn't come with my charger is the deans T plug adapter. This adapter allows me to charge my Deans T plug batteries with my old charger.The quality of the adapter is pretty good. They use high quality 14ga silicone insulated wire which is pretty much as good as it gets. The silicone wire lasts longer and is more flexible in a wider temperature range than your traditional wire insulation. There isn't a whole lot to go wrong with these little adapters but they are well made regardless.Overall I would recommend this if you have a battery charger that uses a Tamiya connector and you want to charge batteries with a Deans T plug. Keep in mind that this is not a mini tamiya connector like many airsoft replicas use. This is the full sized Tamiya connector. It worked well for me to expand my charger's capabilities to batteries with a Deans T plug connector.

Adapters work for adapting Tamiya & Dean's T-type plugs. Charging they work fine. Can be used in lower amp draw RC usage for converting the battery to ESC, but nothing heavy duty of high draw usage, as the wires are only 14Awg. Wires appear to be soldered and heat shrink well. Tamiya plugs have the typical loose like pins and may take some moving it slightly to engage and close the connectors completely. The T-plugs connect OK, but seems a bit looser on fitment than I expected using original Deans plugs in the past. But these adapters are cost effective, have enough quality to their build and easy to use.
