The first one wasn't that great… but the replacement is perfect. Thank you!!

I needed a docking station that would allow me to quickly plug in and unplug to depart. It had to have a power supply, no more dropping a power brick behind the desk and then fishing it out again. Works perfectly and keeps all the cords tucked away from my laptop.

I was trying so hard not tospend this much money on a docking station but this one has solved so many problems with connecting my work devices to monitors. I'm very satisfied with the quality and how easy it was to use.

I am pleased with the product and it works great. Excellent price point and shipped well. Shipping took longer than anticipated but pleased overall.

The product works fine but the power cord/module supplied is buzzing, getting hot, and shutting off periodically. Amazon will not replace the power module only. The only option is to return everything (which seems wasteful) and to work with the seller rather than a typical Amazon return. Unnecessarily cumbersome.

I was happy with this and was glad to find it at a reasonable price. I don’t normally purchase refurbished but I needed this for work and didn’t have the funds for new. This worked fine until yesterday, not even a year since purchased. My work laptop is having issues continuing to work via the item but it is having issues and is continuously lagging to report the “docking station fan has stopped working”. It will still work to connect but the fan failure is an issue now that it has stopped working.I suppose I will be forced to purchase another one and I can guarantee that it will be new NOT refurbished. Yes I know I should have purchased the protection plan so I gambled and lost, won’t happen again. Buyer beware, yes you get a name brand product for a lower price but it would appear these are refurbished just enough for them to work a little while and then crap out and leave you hanging. Don’t buy refurbished unless you also buy the protection plan.

5-star for a low cost, renewed item, for its functions meeting my expectation and advertisement. There are a few issues which do not affect my usage but could matter to other buyers: 1. One out four USBs port malfunctions; two USB-A works well (one USB-C not tested yet). 2. One out of four laptops tested did not work for additional display; HP, Dell, Lenovo Yoga worked plug-and-play without needing to install any driver; Lenovo Legion 17 gaming laptop did not work with HDMI or DP (USB-C as DP not tested yet). For $89 this device is up to mark.===========================5-star rating at first was based on set up, connecting docking station to Lenovo laptop with its PD supply plugged in.2-star rating was based on Laptop used, DELL Latitude 5400, expecting the USB-C to supply power. It failed miserably.~$100; successfully display one 4K but that is, ONLY one display; the second display through either HDMI or DP both plagued with very strong flickering, rendering the second display essentially non-existing. It is totally fair to expect a docking station at this price to deliver dual-display, and it failed. I thus give it 2-star.I rates the following docking station 5-star for its at the same price range, and its no-tweaking, instant success in displaying dual 4K monitor. “Kensington SD4780P USB-C and Thunderbolt 3/4 Docking Station for Windows, MacBooks, Surface and Chromebooks – Dual 4K Video, 100W PD (K33620NA)”Final thoughts: the key for Kensington SD4780P’s excellent performance is its high power output, with 100W PD out of total 170W available to drive the laptop through USB-C. I speculate if I power the Dell Laptop with barrel AC adapter concurrently with docking station’s USB-C plugged in, the WD 15 or WD 19 might be able to function as expected.
