The parts are being screwed together, but the threads don't hold and you need to screw them back every few minutes of work. Still workable, but very annoying.

Poorly packaged product, already arrived with the paint chipped upon opening… you would think heavier objects would require some proper packing.. its made to break up ice so a plastic bag won’t do much good!

The shaft is threaded together so might come a bit loose. But it is easily retightened.The weighted end had no issues breaking up days old ice on the sidewalk or roadway. It’s a good design and will be useful in years to come I believe.

We had ice over a thin layer of snow, and this device worked wonderfully.The weight let me break the ice without effort, and the tapered blade let me get under the ice and clear the walks by pushing it.Money was well spent.

Someone borrowed my ice chopper and never returned it. I needed to bust up some ice that came off my roof. This has a very heavy duty head and chops through ice like nobody's business. The handle is in sections and screws together, which makes it easier to ship, but I;m finding the handle is constantly loosening up as I use it. I need to take it apart and lock tight the sections together. DO NOT hit your foot with this! You will be very sore for many days.
