Inside dimensions measure 3-5/8-by-3-5/8-Inch, for post measuring 3-1/2-by-3-1/2-Inch. Attach by applying exterior caulk to the under-side of the post cap before placing it on the post.

Every 5-10 years, I need to replace one of these only because we live in the Midwest where the winters and summers are harsh. These product the posts for our privacy fence and they look nice, too.

Purchased these caps a while ago. Easy to stain the wood trim to match my existing deck. Fit easily on top of 4x4 post. These caps are still nice and shiny
Plastic, not copper!

Bought these based on the description the cap was copper, but upon receipt see they are plastic. The squirrels destroy anything plastic so we returned them. If you don’t have evil squirrels, they are fine and at a good price.

At less than $20 for two of these post caps this was a bargain. Really adds some snap to boring fence posts. These are well made and easy to install. The skirt is all cedar, the cap is plastic but coated with copper. SO what, big deal!!..even all copper badly discolors over time and weathering. Unless you're a a fanatic purist that just has to have over the top priced copper caps, these are the next best thing as they do EXACTLY the same thing, look good! . Even if the copper wears off i'll just buy some copper tape or some copper spray paint to recoat them if I'm so disposed...So spiff up your deck or gate posts and dont break the bank doing it.

I bought to replace two that had been damaged on our fence. Knew they were copper colored plastic tops, when I ordered. I reused the copper tops from our old ones. The wood was a perfect match with our other ones. They are well made and nice, just not real copper

Very responsive customer service, great, great, great! Product looks very nice. It is all plastic, different from description, but customer service was super responsive and the product looks great and well made.
