Purchased these lights for our lanai. They work great and you can change the colors. Had to buy more cuz the hurricane that hit our place got water in the controller and wrecked it. The lights are grea;t.

These worked out really well for me. Very easy to install and very easy to figure out how each button works on the remote. Variety of settings and it seems very durable.

I put the lights downstairs in my basement but the remote only works on some colors. it also wont let you turn it off not all the buttons do not work and the modes wont cycle thru may just need a new remote but as for the lights they are grate and i still have em installed may just ask for a new remote but in time ill buy new ones to replace .

I put these light strips in our basement storage room. I wanted to make a fun place for the kids, so I installed an outlet with switch and put the lights on the ceiling for them to play with.I wanted to get a remote that wasn't frequency based, since I already had another led strip like that and didn't want it to Hijack control of.The kids love the room we put together for them, because of the fun lights and clouds.Note: The sticky back will pull off a layer of drywall or paint when removed. When I had to remove and adjust, I definitely saw the chunks it was pulling off. All that being said weven had them up for over a month and there have been no pieces that have come down. I also just used the sticky back no other fasteners to keep these on.

So I first bought these in December of 2020, and despite them being used only on/around holidays and outside 24/7 for almost 4 years I never had a problem with them....until Dec 2024!Unfortunately something on one of the strips of lights failed and it wouldn't light up (BTW the other strip is still going strong)Anyway I bought these again to replace the faulty strip with the new one and plugged into the old receiver I have had since 2020 and the new strip lit right up! So now while my lights look a little wierd in the day time with one new and one crusty old one. I can't really complain considering it was FOUR YEARS before I had any issues! And plus now I've got a spare strip/receiver/remote in case I have any problems with those down the line too!

This was my first attempt at lighting anything other than a film set....and I have to say that these lights look FANTASTIC!Installation can be as easy or difficult as you'd like it to be. The kit came with (barely) enough screws/hooks to hold both strands of lights up on my bedroom ceiling. A few extra screws/hooks would've been greatly appreciated to account for corners/beams etc.The lights are REALLY bright and can be dimmed substantially. I wish the lights could go even dimmer, but it's probably a limitation of the technology. The colors are beautiful and the remote makes customization a breeze! You do have to have a relatively clean line of sight to the remote's receiver...which is where the strands plug into the power cord.Ideally, the strands would be one long strand instead of two shorter strands (albeit, such a product doesn't exist on Amazon). I wish the power cord's color matched the white/off-white strips and hooks :/ That was a stupid design choice that would've made a MASSIVE difference for the vast majority of people using these lights on their ceilings. The double-sided tape was frustrating to get started, but appears to be holding up pretty well!Overall, great lights at a great price-point! They look beautiful and I have no regrets in my purchase! :)
