The DasMikro DSK-492 V2 2.4GHz 4CH FHSS-5 SSL Telemetry Receiver uses a built-in antenna for exceptional range and response speed.
Lightweight design and small footprint, this receiver is ideal for 1/10 and 1/12 scale electric RC cars.
This receiver is SSL compatible with either Super Vortex or PGS servo (sold separately).
Compared to DSK-492i, we have done the following optimizations:
1:RX-492 style, adopt high quality shell with compact appearance.
2: Upgrade to High Quality Gold Plated Terminals
3: The material and design of the inner PCB is more optimized.

Indicator function compatibility:
The DSK-492 V2 can be paired with an indicator compatible transmitter to confirm the reception of radio waves transmitted from the transmitter to the receiver. By checking the reception status, you can check the device failure and how the receiver is installed on the vehicle.
(*DSK-492 V2 supports indicator function, but the M17 does not have an indicator function. Currently the indicator function is only available for MT-5. )
Note:
The RPM sensor (SNW107A41061A) and temperature sensor are not compatible.
RPM and temperature telemetry are only available in Sanwa Super Vortex series.
Telemetry cannot be used in FH5U RF mode.
SXR response mode only supports transmitter M17.

Id suggest you purchase a real Sanwa branded reciever. I bought 2 of these, couldn't get either to bind. Threw them away, bought a Sanwa one bound no problem. ...this is all Chinese junk.

bind with no issue to FH5 protocol. I have had no issues with range at indoor track, I would take your time and do some range testing outside if that is your intended use.speed seems the same as Sanwa receiver

So on my second use with this receiver it failed randomly and left my throttle open on my nitro. Buggy ran away and blew up my 700$ nitro engine. I’m so mad. Don’t buy this cheap crap. Reciever was completely unresponsive when it failed.
