The control is supposed to go through an auto cycle when installed to set up, or there is a simple procedure to follow to set up. I did both and it did not run the self setup at all. The knobs barely stuck out and were extremely hard to turn. Control should go from 60 to 90 degrees and this one did not. When turning the knobs, the temp would fluctuate, not increase or decrease smoothly.I bought a Dorman and had no issues and did what it was supposed to!

My AC control module was starting to go out, the dials were not working as well and just overall not working well. I purchased this thinking this was the right module as this is what Amazon along with a majority of other car parts had indicated for my vehicle. I installed it but immediately noticed that it had a weird heat/cold cycle even when the vehicle was already warm. I mean i put it on 85 and i felt it get hot, but then like ice cold as if the AC was on and the cycle would repeat.I finally had to go to the vehicle manufacturer car part website and determined that the part i needed was the 599-009, not the 011.Before buying, i would just suggest to ensure this fits by going to your vehicle car parts website, entering the vin and determining the actual replacement.
