As the headline says, the instructions included rate around 1 on a scale of 1-100. Assembling and installing this is not necessarily intuitive. A previous reviewer mentioned a video (which I read AFTER I got done installing it). It would save people frustration if there were good instructions or at least a link to the video in the box. This light is probably not a beginner project especially if you don't happen to find the video before you begin.. My ceiling box mounting holes just happen to be lined up with the direction that I needed the track to go, which is the one orientation that the base will not mount to. I had to get a little creative. The mounting plate should be designed so that it can accommodate any mounting direction of track vs. ceiling box. The pendant cables are for at least a 12 foot ceiling and cannot be adjusted without disassembly and modification. I shortened them from the track end but the manufacturer soldered the wires to the terminal screws instead of just using the screws as designed which made it a little more complicated. The nature of track lighting pendants is such that they cannot be easily modified for length in the field so other than the solder thing this isn't really a ding on the manufacturer, just something to be aware of. Most people will have to live with adjusting the length with cable ties. If you are capable of more advanced electrical work, they can be shortened. Overall, I am pleased with the outcome and the way they look, it just took longer than I expected it to.

The track installation video is helpful, so please see it before doing anything else. The cover for the base was a little small, so it wasn't able to fully cover the opening; I had to use a little spackle to clean up the hole. Also, take care when pre-installing the interface clips between the rails, as the central rail has nothing to secure the outer rail, insulating holders, and power rails inside to one another, and they kept moving around when trying to install the first clip.The "bottom" half of the "base" is spring-loaded, to interface with the H-track. They hold on pretty well and don't have any issues, other than you can't modify the cable length internally as the ends are soldered on. The last point has a follow-up issue as the pendant cables are 50"+ long and is not designed to be adjusted. You can do an off-label adjustment using zip-ties, but YMMV.The glass diffusers are pretty light, yet have a good diameter in the middle. The diffusion pattern is molded on the outside, and gives it a classier look than straight/clear glass. Also note that the bottom opening is smaller than you expect, so large, fancy bulbs may not go in.
