These shorts are great for biking! There is an elastic waist band with a bottom and Velcro on the front. The cargo pockets have zipper for securing items and the regular pockets are deep enough that felt similar to others shorts. There was enough stretch in the fabric which made these extremely comfortable on the mountain. I would honestly where them as regular shorts all day. Highly recommended.

These are very lightweight and comfortable and you wear with or without a belt. I like that it has multiple pockets, including some with zippers - makes me less paranoid about keys and phones falling out. Note these are pretty baggy -- not a problem for me in my bike commute, but not exactly aerodynamic.

I’ve had these shorts for about a month and have used them while mountain biking almost daily. They are of good quality and fit well. The length brings them to just above my knees. They are cut trim but not too tight. I wear a padded liner under as they have no padding. My only suggestion would be to get rid of the belt loops but some might wear a belt while riding.

Size is dead on, super confortable and stretchy, enough pockets to put anything in them. feels like I'm not even wearing them

Been riding all summer with these. Very durable(went down hard a few times with them). Going to buy another pair as well.

Fit was a little strange but the sizing is true to what they are saying.Very well made and I didn't know how comfortable they would turn out to be! Lot of pockets and they beat gym shorts hands down when out riding!Pockets are pretty sturdy with a nice zipper able to hold my s20 ultra easy.There is adjustments on the waistline with hook and loop style fasteners, and there are belt loops just in case!Inside liner feels good, not a rough material, very soft compared to the outside which seems much more durable.Overall plan on replacing more of my shorts with these!

I received these shorts roughly a week ago and I've done a few rides in them. I have to say, these are some of the best shorts for the money out there.Fit: The fit is true to size and the shorts offer a small amount of adjustability. I wear a 33 and the large was a spot-on fit. The waistband has two built-in rubber hook-and loop straps to snug up the shorts and the belt loops allow you to wear a belt if you feel you need extra support. There is an elastic band running through the back half of the waistband so that snugging the waist down does not result in an overly-tight fit. Waist closure feels very secure with a snap surrounded by velcro, and the zipper fly feels very tough. The shorts are cut nice and long to cover the leg when sitting but are not too baggy and flappy when riding.Material: These shorts use two fabrics, both of which are highly flexible. The majority of the short is made with a durable, yet stretchy material that feels like it will stand up to some abuse. In fact, I crashed on my first ride with these and there is no damage to the shorts. There is also a light, stretchy panel that runs down each leg and across the top of the butt. This helps the shorts breathe and lends even more flexibility to the shorts.Construction: The entire pair feels very well-constructed and there were no loose seams or damage when I received the shorts. Some people complained about the zippers on the pockets being weak, but they feel durable and tough to me. I like the pocket configuration (two front pockets with two more zipper pockets on each leg) and I really like the flap that covers the vertically-oriented zipper pocket because it protects the zipper a bit. There is more than enough room to stash snacks, tools, a CO2 inflator, a phone, etc. but I usually only carry my inhaler and some chapstick in my pockets. I like the fact that I have the option to carry more if need be.Overall, I am very impressed by these shorts and I will probably be picking up a second pair in another color soon. If you are on the fence, know that these are an incredible value and can compete with shorts that are three times the price.- William

UPDATE: Shortly after posting my review, I was contacted by the vendor who offered me a choice of a full refund or a new pair of Cycorld Men's Mountain Bike Shorts. Since I really like the design and fit of these shorts to begin with, I requested a replacement. I received the replacements very quickly and they're looking good. If I could split my rating I'd give the product four stars and the vendor five...thanks!I'll have to admit, I really liked these shorts. They were everything I was looking for in a bike short to use on my daily, mostly street, mountain bike ride. They were reasonably priced, comfortable, perfect length, good looking, and had plenty of secure pockets for storage. So then you're probably wondering why the one star rating, I'll tell you. After wearing the shorts three times (and remember 98% of my ride is streets), the seam in back is coming unstitched. It's not ripping from stress or getting snagged on something, it's just separating along the seam (see photo) that runs across the butt at the top of the pocket...and that is unacceptable. I don't think it's unreasonable to expect a short to last more than three outings, so sadly I have to say buyer beware!

This short fit very well and for the most part are a good pair of short. The cut is good and they have good manoeuvrability making them ideal for my MTBing. The one area that I do have a little problem with is how lightweight they are. Some people may like this as they might get quite hot but being more into DH I like mine to be able to take wear and tear and these would not survive a crash with ease. However, I would still recommend these and my wife thinks they look good, so that's a bonus :)Overall* Very lightweight material (May or may not like)* Excellent fit* Look good
