This provides the best possible fit and easiest installation. It is designed to integrate with the vehicle's existing features and offer a reliable connection to your trailer. This hitch is stringently tested in accordance with SAE J684 to ensure a weight carrying capacity of 4,000 lbs. GTW and 600 lbs. TW. It also features a 2" receiver tube opening to accept ball mount or other hitch accessory with a 2" x 2" shank and is finished with Curt's unique co-curing process. Each hitch is dipped in a liquid A-coat for rust prevention, inside and out, and then co-cured in a durable black powder coat finish for maximum rust, chip and UV resistance. Curt custom wiring provides everything you need to connect your vehicle's electrical system to a trailer. With plug-and-play connectors, a custom wiring harness easily integrates with your vehicle taillights to provide a standard trailer wiring connector, typically in the form of a 4-way flat. It uses OEM-compatible connectors to "T" into the vehicle's taillight assembly and provides a standard 4-way flat output to power the taillights, brake lights and turn signals on your trailer. To complete this custom wiring harness, it comes with a rubber dust cover. Bought this hitch/harness package for a 2019 Ford Edge SEL. Arrived early. Hitch fit great,. Easy installation. Looks great. Harness didn't fit but Curt worked with me to return. Very pleased with their service. I would have given it 5 stars if the harness worked.
