I don't think this is any fault to Curt, but the hitch looks to be very well built. Mine arrived bend and scratched because i ordered it thru amazon warehouse and it arrived with a UPS label slapped onto it. No box or any protective covering. Fortunately i was able to work things out and make it work for me.

This came in a big box, also wrapped in plastic so was in perfect condition. It was a sinch to install on my Honda Odyssee, I just needed to have someone push the muffler out of the way. If your vehicle is not very new, or you live in a northern area that uses salt on the roads, or both, do yourself a HUGE favor and order this tap:https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B00DLCUEXC/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1with it. I tried without it and it was an exercise in frustration, I actually broke off one of the weld nuts because the threads were so rusted the bolts wouldn't go in. Ordered this tap, ran it up in the holes and the bolts went right in no problem at all.Overall this is an excellent value at a fraction of the cost of having a hitch installed by anyone else.

The trailer hitch is a well made product. It arrived in a couple of days within ordering. The box as a little beat up from shipping the the hitch was packaged well enough that it was not even scratched. It is however, a trailer hitch, so I doubt it would have mattered anyway.The hitch installed without a hitch, even for a 65 year old man. I pulled the van onto two two by eight boards on each side to raise it slightly. From there you simply hang the right side over the exhaust pipe and then raise the left side to get one bolt started. Then bolt the right side, etc.I did have one concern initially. When you install the bolt with the "fish wire", it does not wedge against the side of the rail in the inside as I had expected. My concern was that it would turn as I tried to tighten the nut onto the bolt. However this was not the case as it tightened with no problem.Everything worked out really well and the hitch tucks under the van as much as it can. Overall,I'm really pleased with this product.

Just installed it on my 2016 Honda Odyssey SE. The "fitment" tab says it is not compatible with my 2016 van but I can confirm it is. etrailer's website also confirms fitment just in case anyone is doubtful. The product looks awesome, I personally like the one piece low profile look. Installation is easy, watch a couple of youtube videos and repeat them a few times and you will get the confidence to do it yourself. Received the hitch from UPS at 5:48pm I unboxed it, went to my basement for some tools, talked to my wife about how cool it looks, cut the box it came in to use as a mat, read the instructions included(did not need to) but I liked the color pictures it had, asked wife if she wanted to help, she installed all the bolts and I tightened them up, finished exactly at 6:50pm.

Very well made and the powder coat was attractive and seemed durable. Was not as easy to install without a lift...ideally a 2 person job. Instructions were clear and there are also online resources to guide you through the process.

Bought this for my 2011 Honda Odyssey. Was very easy to install, instructions were to the point and accurate. Less than 30 minutes to install and I'm no mechanic but I do like to tinker with tools. Sturdy construction, great finish, looks good.

Inexpensive hitch for Honda Odyssey EXL 2009. I'm sure it will fit any odyssey model from 2005-2010.Installation time takes about 15 minutes if you have all the tools and another person to help. All you really need is a wrench with socket. Threading the fish wire for the 3rd bolt on the driver takes only seconds. The hitch will slide over the exhaust, no need to lower the exhaust pipe.This hitch is not hidden. It is visible from the rear. You will see the black bar running across your rear bumper.Highly recommend this. Can't ask for better product for the price. Have 3 Curt hitches for all 3 of my car.
