as advertised out of the box. UPDATE: Two years in. The stones in two of the four studs have come loose and fallen out. One of which was lost on New Year's Eve. This is not a quality product.

They were junk. I returned this item. The black discs were to small for the links and we're off center and the glue showed around the discs.

We needed the cufflinks for a wedding. They did the job, but I did wish the quality was a bit better.

I purposely chose upgraded studs and was quite disappointed in their performance. the backs to the studs were too small and readily pulled through the stud holes in the tuxedo shirt. I had to put a paper clip around the backings to prevent having them from popping through.

They look nice and the price was even better. Needed some studs for my tux and didn't want to spend a ton of money on them since I rarely need to wear it. These fit the bill nicely.
