The wrist velcro closer will always keep the glove in place, regardless of normal use expansion from water weight. Cressi’s Dyfiber material offers maximum strength with minimum weight. It features the ANSI level 4 for cut resistance and level 3 for puncture resistance. The Dyfiber glove is designed in Italy by Cressi and made in China. Cressi has been an Italian brand pioneer in scuba diving, snorkeling, and swimming equipment since 1946.

These gloves are great!!! My husband uses them when snorkeling around coral and has dressed any cuts he gets.He is on a blood thinner and prior to having these gloves when snorkeling he would be bleeding all the time. These gloves gave him back the enjoyment of snorkeling.Thank you

They fit but if your hands are a larger size small....you mostly wear small, but they just fit...you may want to go with medium. Mine are snug, but underwater they feel perfect!

Bought these for a diving trip in the Keys. I wanted a glove that was like a second skin - mainly for protecting my hands from fire coral or other abrasives. These did the job. When they arrived, I thought they were a little thicker than I was hoping for due to the rubber covering on the fingers and palm. But I had plenty of dexterity when wearing them. My hand size pointed to a medium in the sizing chart. So that's what I offered. they had a little bit of wrinkling in the material in the palm area but this was not a problem when diving.

I just dove on the USS Spiegel Grove in Key Largo yesterday wearing these. That’s the 3rd largest wreck dive in the world and these gloves handled all the rusty metal and prickly dive lines with no problem. They held up to sharp metal very well.

These gloves seem to be very sturdy, but they are a little bulkier than I wanted. Irony is that I didn't get to use them on my last dive trip because the marine preserve I dove prohibited them.

Full disclosure: I've never done spear fishing, and I don't have any plans to start today.I'm a preparedness freak sometimes, in a very specific ADHD fueled way; when I see an opportunity to use something to my advantage, I kitbash it into what I need. So, when I saw cut resistant gloves, I jumped at it.I do some pretty tough jobs as both hobby and career, and I need to make my money stretch as far as it can. Getting quality gear at an affordable price is a skill that you must hone to survive when you're trying to keep the lights on. I have a set of Carhartt work gloves that I normally use, but they've got sentimental value, so I try not to let them get too scuffed up. Instead, I got this pair, since they're supposed to be puncture and abrasion resistant. They're not conventional work gloves, but they have grips and they're light, so.Well, I think I must've not chosen the right size because I ended up with xxl. It's still wearable, though, so I'm rockin 'em to work now. They're a little too loose to do fine motor skills work with, but that's because I got them too big. I mainly use them when dealing with power tools that could cut me, because no it won't stop it, but every bit helps. They're grippy and solid, but very flexible and lightweight, they're very comfortable, and while I'm not going to test the safety ratings advertised, I think if they really have steel in the weave, it's better than bare skin. What's that? How are they for spear fishing? Oh, I've no clue.
