I am giving it 4 stars because it has a matte finish that’s pretty rough, making it hard to clean. Paper towels shred on it and leave a residue. It’s okay, but not great.

This "baker" is super cute in an ugly sort of way. :) Mine was clearly a return because the box was bashed to bits and covered in layers of tape. I fully expected it to be in shards but, surprisingly, it was whole. It had a lot of weird white powder on it that I couldn't wipe off. but was able to scrub it off with soap and hot water. NO WAY would I put food anywhere near it! I intend to use if for decoration. Also, it isn't well made...the lid doesn't fit quite right so it wouldn't be a good choice for something you use everyday, like to hold keys or widgets or something. The glaze has several spots or drips but I will put it on a shelf and cleverly arrange it to hide all problems. I wanted the dish for a long time, then I saw it for a special price of $11 and pounced. So I don't mind that it has some quirks. If I'd paid full price, it would be a different story.
