Okay, nobody is going to mistake this cordless rivet tool for a professional quality unit. The construction is a bit light when compared to a high-quality name brands, but it is plenty well-built for a homeowner or other occasional user. The functioning is good. The trigger action is smooth and responsive. The brushless motor is strong enough to deliver and set the rivets, from 1/8” to 3/16”. It also has speed settings. There is an LED light that illuminates the work area. This is always a nice feature to have. I also like the rubber coated handle. It feels good and it helps assure that a good grip. The most important, and convenient feature is that it uses DeWalt compatible 20-Volt batteries. This means it will never be a problem finding an extra or replacement battery. This is a huge advantage. They have included a plastic case to carry the tool and there is room in it for a battery (none are included), but the case is pretty much a plain case. It isn’t really designed to hold the tool firmly in a specific spot. Still, it works fine. This is a good cordless rivet tool for occasional use and it does a good job.

this pop rivet gun is light weight and uses the dewalt battery. you just place the rivet in the end press against what you want to rivet and press the switch and it will automatically pull the rivet shaft till it pops off very easy and effective . Sounds great so far and it was BUT there was a problem it would not release the rivet shaft and I had to take it apart to get the old rivet out of the gun before placing a new rivet in. I tried several different rivets and each time had the same result. while it will pop the rivet off easily it will not release the rivet shaft with out disassembling the unit which while it is not hard to do it does make this gun not very practical to use which is why I only gave it 3 stars

I have used a variety of manual rivet guns before, but this is the first automatic rivet gun I have used so this is new territory for me. I do have a decent collection of Dewalt tools which use the 20v battery system. This makes this tool a nice addition without having to figure out another battery system to keep track of.If you know how rivets work this will work like any other tool you have used before. I like to slot the rivet in the gun and then seat it into place to seat. Pull the trigger and it pulls the rivet till it snaps and the rivet is set. The rubber lining on the handle makes holding the gun secure in place easy. I haven't needed it yet, but it does have a light which illuminates the work area.The tool comes with a formed case which keeps the tool from banging around too much. I say too much because it isn't a press form which holds everything in place, just formed so everything has a place. Still, nice to be able to keep things organized.This tool is not what I would consider a commercial version tool. But it is a nice consumer level model. For the hobbyist or occasional user this tool should last you for years.

This rivet gun is great and easy to use power is amazing good value for the money speed process is way faster the then a regular rivet gun power and quality ypu can trust durability is good functionality is great

Solid, streamlined, simple option if you don't need a lot of extras from your rivet gun. It is a simple rivet gun that lacks high end functionality but has worked for home projects and repairs, especially gutters. You only need one hand to use and operate it because of how simple it is.
