This product is indeed copper, but sooooo incredibly thin that it's almost impossible to work with. I am a pro guitar tech and I have copper shielded 100's of guitars over the years. I was hopeful when the product arrived, but knew immediately that it just was not thick enough to be to correctly applied. If you have never copper foiled a guitar, save yourself a lot of stress and look elsewhere for thicker foil.
