I don’t know how this works, but boy does it. I used regular sand a few years ago, which is washed away. Wanted to test this out to see if I should spend the money on bigger bags and complete the job again. This on a small area and forgot about it for a week. I went back after three days of rain and it looks 100% perfect, and none of it washed away, and it was almost like concrete. I took my knife and was able to break it away if I wanted to, but it holds up to massive amounts of strong rain with no problem whatsoever. Am 100% satisfied and I’m going to be ordering more to finish the job this worked.

Ten pounds of polymeric sand doesn't go a whole lot of distance if measuring in linear feet of say, a walkway, but it is a reasonable size for transport, be it the delivery folks, or me, hauling it around the yard. The compact size bag makes it easy to cut and distribute It works really well for setting a stone walk into place, in my experience. I'm sure it works great for other uses too, but that's the one I can report on. I had to mix and match with other polymeric sands to complete the job, and there was no issue with doing that either. All in all a great experience and a quality product. I would get again.

I used this sand to re-sand a small walkway of pavers on the side of my home. 10lbs of sand did about 12-15 feet of walkway so this is only suitable for very small touch-up jobs. 10lbs is a very small amount of sand to sell when your local hardware stores are selling 35lb bags (and for less than this product sells). Overall the sand was equal quality to what I purchased locally last year. I swept the sand into the cracks and then did rather good rinse to saturate the sand as well as clean off the white powder it leaves on the pavers. The sand dried hard to the touch and should hold up fine in this environment. The sand seems fine but no better than the locally available product I can find at a much lower price.

I had red ants which pushed out quite a bit of sand in one area of my patio so I needed to fix it. So far so good, it does exactly what the old sand did. It was very easy to use. I wet the pavers poured the sand swept it into the gaps while continuing to spray water and it filled in nicely. The color matched the original. This has held up in heavy rains so the value is definitely there. The price for a 10 bag is comparable to other 10 pound bags. I will say it is definitely more cost effective to get a 50lb bag.

I have used polymeric sand on my brick patio. It's a great product to keep the bricks together and prevent vegetation from growing between them. In the spring there is always a need to fill in places that the sand has worn or washed away during the winter. This bag is perfect for filling in those areas. It is a bit pricey for a 10 pound bag, but I have used this brand before and it does the job.

I got this sand to re spread a little section of pavers I have in my backyard. The sand is very fine and works well to seal the gaps and to eliminate the growth of weeds in between. Great quality and easy to use. I love it.

I ordered a bag of the ConSandtrate Polymeric Sand, 10 lb, Gray for Concrete Paver Joints up to 2" to fill in the spots of the pavers in my backyard patio where the original sand using for setting the pavers had settled. I like that this polymeric sand comes with detailed instructions on the back of the bag. You don't have to worry about losing instructions that are on a separate piece of paper or going online to watch a video (however, I did find a few videos that were helpful as I hadn't tried patching the paver joints myself before this). Overall, the ConSandtrate Polymeric Sand works well, although it's a bit spendy for quantity.

This seems like a quality product, easy to use and worked well to fill in some gaps between patio pavers. It's extremely expensive, however, and I don't see ordering it again at $3.50 per pound when I can get it at the local home improvement store for less than $1.00 per pound. Please note this is a pretty small bag for this type of product, it will cover a small portion of the average patio area.
