Excellent quality. Seemed to retain sharpness after running 200+ feet of molding.

This is a fine cutter but it is a lot bigger than the picture makes it look like. When I loaded it into the Rockler Router table I have I had to remove the cutout insert because it was more very wide. It cuts about 1 " deep if you use all of it depth wise. It was rally to big for 1 3/4 " this board. The cut is 3/4 " so there is nothing for the wheel to ride on. I just raised it up and used about 3/4 of the bid depth wise. It is very well made just make sure that unlike I did you read the size of the thing.

As I am fairly new to woodworking (my preferred medium has been metal) I did quite a bit of homework and investigating with those 'in the know' and determined that CMT makes a superior product. Once I narrowed down the manufacturer then it was time to select the pattern for edging my [future] bookshelves. I settled on the 841.880.11 Classical Ogee as it had the right architectural look and feel of other moldings adjacent to the [future] bookshelves.I was delighted to see that Amazon offered the bit for quite a bit less than any local or other specialty store and it was on PRIME so I ordered it and thanks to a bit of technical wizardry the bit was delivered the next day to my office.Much like a 7 year-old on Christmas I tore into the larger-than-it-needed-to-be box and dug through the close-but-not-quite-enough-packing-material and the usual plethora of Amazon Mail to find the CMT router bit in its cracked yet unopened box. While it was a slight bummer that the box was cracked the bit was in 100% new and pristine condition.Loaded into my router and properly aligned I 'practiced' on a sacrificial piece of wood to get the bit speed, feed speed and such to make the proper cuts on my final product. The bit performed flawlessly. As far as the BIT is concerned - I rate it a 5As far as the PACKAGING is concerned - I rate a 3Net net: 4.
