For many years I've been very happy with all CMT woodworking products and these bits are very good as well. I ordered both the 8 mm & 10 mm for my XL 700 and could not tell any difference from the Festool brand. It was actually cheaper for me to order a new CMT bit AND 250 Taytools tenons than it was to buy from festool. Great price,quality bit.

Creates loose tenons for the 10mm dominos. Dominos are not snug inside the tenon, therefor not creates a strong joint.

Well built, and far less expensive than the Festool version. I've cut hundreds of domino mortises with mine, and it continues to perform as flawlessly as the day I first used it. Well worth the investment, and helps to bring down the operational costs of ownership.

I've had plenty of CMT products, always been satisfied. This bit is as good as the twice the price Festool. Thanks CMT for a less expensive alternative.
