Looks just like the old one i removed, however will not create enough vacuum to open gas valve. My old draft inducer has a bad bearing and screams until it seizes up. Removed old unit, scraped off old gasket, installed a new gasket that i made. New inducer runs and creates enough vacuum for the ignitors to turn on, but not enough for the gas valve to open. I was able to suck on the hose and got the gas to open. Swapped out this unit for the broken original and the furnace fired up right away. Ordered an oem Goodman part for the same cost as this one. That one worked first time.My guess is that the unit was sealed poorly and leaked, causing it to not make enough vacuum. I probably could have fixed it, but if by some chance i couldn't i would not have been able to return it because you end up damaging taking them apart. Risk did not equal reward.

I bought this motor to replace the blower motor in my Goodman furnace after the original motor failed. I was confident it would work, but unfortunately, this motor is not up to the task. Here’s what happened:The old motor was clearly done for, the bearings were rough, and it wouldn’t start unless I manually spun the wheel. After installing this replacement motor, I assumed all would be fine. However, my furnace would only fire about one out of every four attempts. I traced the issue to the pressure switch not closing.Thinking the pressure switch might be faulty, I ordered a new one and replaced it. No luck—same problem persisted. Then I suspected the gasket sent with this motor. It was much smaller than the original and didn’t seem like it could form a proper seal. So, I crafted a new gasket using quality material, ensuring it would create a good seal. Yet, the same issue remained. At this point, I began to suspect the motor itself. I bought a manometer and tested the vacuum pressure. This motor barely generated 0.62 in. of vacuum, just above the 0.60 threshold required to make the pressure switch. Worse, the pressure often dropped below 0.6 during operation, causing the furnace to shut down. Sometimes it couldn’t even reach 0.6 at all, which meant the furnace never fired. For comparison, I put the old motor back on to test it temporarily. As soon as I reinstalled it, the furnace fired flawlessly every time. The old motor generated 0.8 in. of vacuum, far exceeding the switch’s requirement. That’s when I realized this replacement motor was simply defective—it couldn’t do the job it was designed for.In short, this motor is junk. I wasted my time and money as I tried to troubleshoot issues that weren’t caused by my furnace or pressure switch, but by this poorly made motor. If you’re considering this product, don’t. Learn from my mistake and look for a higher-quality motor elsewhere.

Not quite an exact replacement for a Jakel 119-350 electric connector did not work (had to splice connector from old fan) then had to make a spacer under one bolt so case would not twist and fan would rub

The product I received was suppose to be a replacement motor for the one I had. It is not according to the HVAC professional who tried to install it. I will be returning the product to Amazon.

I heard a strange sound in the middle of the night and furnace stopped blowing hot air. Upon inspection I found the inducer motor didn’t spin freely, bearings were shot. This is a direct replacement for Goodman furnace model GMS90703BXA with original motor JAKEL INC. Model: J238-150-15293,120V. 60Hz 3.7 LRAReplacement comes with extra parts not necessary for this setup. Replacing it was straight forward just make sure to kill incoming power before working on it. Supposedly this is an upgraded version, old one ran the distance for 15yrs, so we’ll see.I saved allot of money doing this by myself and waiting a couple of days wasn’t an issue since we have identical furnace for upstairs and downstairs. Downstairs one needed the heat so I swapped the motors until replacement came in.
