They are very strongly scented, but I didn't have issues with mosquitos while wearing it. The scent lasted a long time too. I only needed it for one night but I feel like it would have been useful for at least 2 nights.

I have used the Parakito bracelets for a couple of years and love them, though the refills are pricey! Hoping to save some significant money I bought these refills.The good news is that these pellets/refills fit in the Parakito bracelets. Seems like these, along with their bracelets, are pretty obvious knock-offs.The bad news is that they don't smell as nice to my nose (they have a stronger, more traditional citronella smell) and in wearing them on several buggy nights here in New England recently, I haven't found them to be as effective. Maybe a 7/10 vs. a 9/10 for the Parakitos at keeping the mosquitoes and gnats at bay.I can’t yet speak to their longer term effectiveness, or their water resistance. Be curious to hear other experiences. Still hard to argue with the lower price. I may be updating this review in a couple months with more feedback. The stronger odor alone may get me to pay more for the Parakito refills.

I ordered these by mistake thinking they were refills for the clips but being made of the same ingredients I feel they work equal to the others, which in my opinion did not work very well. It seems that it helps a little bit by the area where the pellets are, but overall it would take several of them to make any type of impact and if I have to do that, then I might as well put bug spray on and not have to worry about it. This is a great concept just not that effective.

It is about the same size as a parakito refill but smells only 70% as strong. So far no new mosquito bites. Good cheaper alternative for a parakito bracelet refill. I use these to not get bit on my patio smoking cigars. Would probably get a parakito if I go in the woods but these are fine for around my garden.

I've been using the product and refills all summer. I've noticed very few if any bites from mosquitos. Makes working in the yard or just being outside much more enjoyable. Very easy to use and change the cartridge.
