Very thick plastic and works well to make single "square". However, when you try to place the next one tight to the first one, it leaves inconsistent gaps. I also needed this unit to go around curves and it doesn't do this well at all. The work-around for both issues is to pour the adjacent square, lift the mold, and then add more concrete to fill the gaps that are too wide. Flatten out with your trowel (I used my gloved hand) and then remake a new groove wherever you want with the trowel edge. It's a bit fiddly, but once you get the hang of it, it makes for a much nicer finished look. Another fix for gaps that aren't too big is to simply move each segment around after they harden up.

I used it to make a fake rock wall out of thick Sheetrock mud. Definitely put a new spin on the cabin's room. Worth the money

It took quite awhile for it to arrive, which doesn't bother me as much as the fact I waited all that time only to be delivered broken product. There is a full break on one of the outside rims as in the picture. Very dissapointed!

Bought these to make a walkway around our house. They work pretty well, but the fit in rotating forms could be better. Even just putting the forms in a line there is a gap between them.I am using 80 pound bags of Quickcrete. 3 - 80 pound bags fills 5 forms, with a shovel full of concrete left over.If you don't mix the concrete too wet, you can pull the forms off within a couple of minutes.

Shop around. You can get these cheaper at Lowe’s , etc.. Also the pattern is too small with a very tiny piece on the edge which is difficult to remove form without damaging or it sticking. This small piece will be prone to it being loosened easily and possibly kicked out. Too late for me. Don’t get me wrong. It still looks great though. I am creating a curve which is challenging and will be making separate pieces to finish at either end of the path. I am going to move and adjust some sections so the gaps are more uniform. I am still working on it. I will use gray polymeric sand when finished.

Love the look/style. It's not as quickly used as stated. It's time consuming and you need to wait about 5-10 minutes before you can remove the mold, ground needs to be perfectly leveled. Recommend buying more than 1 mold.
