Needed this to keep our little guy from opening a set of double doors and now he’s not going anywhere lol. Easy to install and to lock and unlock. It looks like it could’ve come with the house as a safety lock. Great quality!

We got this lock for my 3 year old because she won’t stay in her room at bedtime and figured out how to get out of the “childproof” door handle. It worked for a few months, but she eventually figured out how to get out of her room again. She just keeps jiggling the door and the lock will eventually slide out of place. Now we are in search of something else…

This is super easy to install. Just screw it in. You may have to sand down the door a smidge so that it will slide easily. But, you want some friction so that clever little people can't simply push it with a broom handle.It's also easy to use. You simply slide it from side to side on the top of the door. It can be opened & closed from both sides of the door. It's high enough that little people can't open it even if they stand on a chair.This is the second one we've purchased. It's kind of expensive, so best for areas where you really need two way access that is easy to obtain...areas where locking one side only won't work or areas where a key won't work.But, for those areas you need this, it is an excellent choice.

Took about a minute to install on French doors and works brilliantly. I previously installed a hydraulic door closer that worked for keeping cats out, but my golden retriever was able to push it open. No longer.

My husband installed this to kid proof a door. It works perfectly, it was super easy to install, and the price is very reasonable. Super easy to use.

I have been using this door lock for a couple weeks now. It is on a screen door that leads from my screened in porch to my backyard. So far it had been working great! I could be inside and visitors could enter without my having to manually unlock the screen door so my cat didn't escape outside. The reason for four stars is that we've had some windy weather recently and I came home to the lock jiggled out of place by the wind. I could give it a nudge and the door opened. I did test it to make sure that I actually got it locked into place but the wind still opened it. So if you are using this for a pet or child door and that pet/child likes to aggressivley paw at the door, then this product may not work.

Easy to install. It’s a little tight under our door but I knew that was a possibility when buying it. Very durable. Will be easy to remove (with minimal damage to door) when no longer needed.
