We have hard water, so I was excited to see this product to use with my evaporative humidifier. A microfiber cloth is included and the jug of Humidifier Treatment mentions that it can form sludge inside the tank, so I will use this cloth to help clean my tank when needed.At $17.55/32 oz (at time of review), this is a fair value for proper maintenance.I feel like this product really does help to keep my humidifier working properly and to minimize debris. Definitely follow the instructions on the product bottle for proper use.

I got this Plexon Microfiber Cleaning Cloth 14x14 with Best Air 1T Extra Strength Humidifier Water Treatment, 32 fl oz to freshen up and, hopefully, keep our humidifiers a bit freer of scale and buildup. After using for a few days we don't notice any different odor or smells coming from our units. The treatment is easy to use and it's a large bottle, so with only a little used each time it should last a long time. It remains to be seen if it cuts down on scale, but I'm optimistic. The microfiber clothe is a nice bonus.

I have been using the Plexon/BestAir humidifier treatment for a few days in my three year old humidifier. So far, nothing magical has happened. The air is fresher even though it does not smell any differently. These results are to be expected. The Plexon/BestAir treatment has a minimalist smell – fresh … remarkably close to eucalyptus but extremely light in fragrance. This humidifier treatment works like most good products – it quietly does the job that it was designed to do without fanfare. The microfiber cleaning cloth was a nice gesture by the Plexon/BestAir folks. (The single pack bottle that I received is labeled BestAir.)

This is super easy to use because you just add a capful per gallon of water. The cap is little and the bottle is large - so this bottle is going to last quite a long time. I have noticed some hard water build up on my humidifiers and this does seem to help with that, but without diminishing the output f the humidifier or changing the smell of the output. They include a nice microfiber cloth for cleaning with this. Given hoe long a bottle is going to last, this is a good value.

I added this to my humidifier reservoir per the instructions. My humidifier holds about 3-4 gallons, so I used 6 capfuls per fill, and have used it now for a few fills. It has no residual smell, so it doesn't cause any smell to come out the humidifier, which is good. Easy to measure and use without a mess. My reservoir and wick were a bit scaled/dirty- I did not notice any worsening of those things so far and it seems to be preventing further buildup. Wick still looks discolored but I am not expecting a miracle this late in the season. Overall seems to be good; I may add the bacteriostatic additive as well to see if that further improves wick longevity.

Upon receipt of the Best Air 1T Extra Strength Humidifier Water Treatment, I noticed there are two other steps to benefit fully from the process, but am realizing the other steps aren't super necessary at the moment. As the weather slowly gets warmer, but the humidity levels remain constant, I've been noticing a little bit of a musty scent possibly from the humidifier so I figured I'd give this a try since it helps freshen up the air as well. We have an evaporative humidifier and adding half of a capful of this solution doesn't seem to be effecting our machine negatively, and the scent I've been smelling is significantly less than I had noticed in the days before receiving this. I do have another humidifier I'd like to use it in, as there is quite a bit of calcium buildup, but unfortunately, it's not for use in ultrasonic or vaporizer type humidifiers, so I'll have to stick to my vinegar solution there. Either way, I'll continue making use of this and the added microfiber bonus is definitely handy to be able to wipe down surfaces of the machine as well. With 32 fl. oz, it's quite a bit of solution and will last a good, long while considering we only have to refill our machine once a day, which makes the cost quite attainable for sure!

Since the Item's web page has a good description and photos, I will not add any more description (other than what is already stated) or photos.This product seem to do a good job. I've used this for a while, and it does cut down the lime scale and calcium buildup, but it doesn't totally get ride of it. There is still some stuff on the wix after some time, but after normal usage they should be replaced anyway. It does prolong the time you would have to clean and replay the wix.
