I don't dislike this unit, but I thought it would simplify things for me. I have a GigBar Move + ILS as well as an ILS controller. I had hoped that adding this handheld controller would enable more simple handheld functions, but it turns out to be pretty much the same controller that comes with the GigBar Move. Nothing wrong with it, just nothing added in functionality.

The 1980s called and they want their antenna back! Seriously... do you guys even know how to make a decent remote? Telescoping antenna, an odd battery that lasts maybe two events? This is why I was so hesitant to buy anymore lighting from this company. If you have a gigbar move or this remote, you'd better stock up on batteries! Did I mention that they aren't cheap either?

I got the RFC for the gig bar move and it needs the IRC.
