Fun as most good builds should be.Expect a little jumping through boards to find pieces. A little frustrating but I can appreciate the efficient use of material.Directions could be a little bit better with higher resolution pics. My eyes are not as young as they used to be. Even with reading glasses I had to use a magnifying glass.All in all… A total fun build.

Enjoyed putting this model together. Easy to follow instructions and sturdy parts. Only criticism is that the bottom of the hull is open and it would have been better for it to have been finished properly. Rigging was easy to do.

It looks great and i stained it an espresso color from lowes. You want to paint or stain beforehand of course. Difficulty was relatively easy. The hard part for me was having patience building it because sometimes the pieces wouldn't fit precisely, so be prepared to take the time to sand you dont want to break the pieces since the wood looks like veneer. I personally never sanded it but i broke a couple pieces. Also it is fragile, when bumped or moved at times the wood shaped "ropes" seem to be the loosest fitting. Might be worth it to super glue them in places. Overall i am happy with the way it looks and the process of building it was an interesting view point. You get what you pay for so dont expect a high quality, sturdy wood.

This model would be a great gift before or after completion.Easy to build if you follow the easy to read directions.I enjoyed building this model 😍. I've built harder models but really enjoyed this one.All the parts came off the sheets easily with little to no burrs. The only bad part is that you will need some glue on some lose fitting parts. But don't worry for if you take your time it will look great 👍.One recommendation is to build the stand after completing the hull.Well worth the money.Get it! You will truly enjoy building this kit.
