These are nice and thick both in width and density. It feels like they will hold up for awhile and not tear a big hole where the buckle goes through.

My other pair (from state line) broke but these seem more sturdy in the buckles. They fit over my big winter riding boots, no problem.

I've been through 3 sets of leather spur straps recently. Each of which seemed nice initially, but didn't stand up to the work.These straps have been great! Used frequently and still going strong.

These are SO long!! I ended cutting a good 4 inches off of them and then burning the ends so they don't fray. Fine that I had to customize given the price, but I wouldn't have spent any more on them.

Ended up being a lot thicker than I was expecting and are a little large for a petite adult. On the plus side, the buckle punches through easily (other straps I have used were difficult to punch through).
