I bought this for my male MaineCoon cat. He is quite large and this hammock for has plenty of room on it. I needed something sturdy yet girly and pretty for my cat wall. This has metal poles that I drilled into one stud then used the included anchors on the other side. It hasn't budged and my kitty now sleeps in it about 5 hours a day, every day, once I put him up there in it the first time. I will buy again if I need to. Highly recommend!

This cat hammock is super cute and easy to install. I HIGHLY suggest using a stud finder and figuring out where your studs are BEFORE you start making plans to drill into the wall.For me, I was able to find a portion of wall (right next to our cat tree) that had two studs i(n a relatively perfect spot). I figured out where I wanted to place the hammock, colored the holes in with pen, and predrilled them about half-way before pulling them out and actually screwing the hammock into place. From start to finish, I had the hammock up in about 40 minutes (figuring out placement took up a majority of that time).All in all, I am EXTREMELY happy with my order and I'm sure my cats will love it (once they learn that they can trust the hammock, lol). It looks great, the price is great (currently $22), and overall, I just really love having it in my home!5 stars earned! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Good luck and happy shopping!P.S.- Tell your fur babies I said "pspspspsps" and give them some scritches behind the ears please! ♥♥♥

It's relatively simple to put together and very nice to look at. It seems sturdy enough for the cats, as long as you install it well. I would use this in combination with other cat steps too.I have one cat who falls off of things in his sleep, so I made sure not to make it too high or over anything he'd hurt himself on. I would consider this with any cat steps/shelves if you have a cat like mine before getting this.

The side posts are heavy metal and will not hang in drywall, even with screw supports. I tried for 3 hours
