Installation

1. Drill two holes on the wall and install the expansion tube into the holes.

2. Align the wall plate with the the thermostat panel.

3. Screws through the expansion tube to fix the wall plate and the thermostat panel.

4. Put the thermostat on the panel of the thermostat.

Needed to trim some plastic and make the mounting holes align with the new Ecobee. Was incredibly short sited on Ecobee's part to change the mounting points on the thermostat.

Didn’t work but didn’t need them because the plate came in the box with the thermostat. We want black pate to match the thermostat. Came with a white plate, but it looks fine on the wall.
