I love wooden cooking utensils. I think they are the best as they wont scratch you cookware, They have decent heat resistance and they are better for the environment than most of the other materials out there. This set has all your basic needs and is well crafted. They are balanced and the handle of them just fits my hand. They are not that flimsy thin wood either these have a backbone to them and do not flex. It does not come with a holder but I store these in a drawer and don't like a lot of things on my counters unless Im using them anyway so that is not a deal breaker for me. These are by the popular brand Carote and while I am not a super fan of theirs I do think they make and provide really good cooking items at a good price made with quality materials that will last. I was happy to see that they made this set as it seems to me that it is getting harder and harder to find wooden utensils. This set will give you everything you would need and use for the most part and are easy to clean and wont ruin your cookware.

LOVE this utensil set! Great quality wood, coating seems good too. Will not scratch your cookware, which was a super important request from the cook of the family. Seems like good value on sale ($36), although kind of pricey when not ($50). Have had a set of wooden utensils for a numbers of years and they started to...fall apart recently. Lots of use, but also put them in the dishwasher, which you probably shouldn't do. For this set, will hand-wash only. Recommended!

We haven't had a complete matching set of cooking utensils / serving utensils like this for a while. Pieces break or melt or whatever. Some get replaced. Some don't. The result is a hodge podge of tools with some invariably missing from the drawer. In our case, we haven't had a spaghetti fork since ours broke a while ago. Man, have I missed that spaghetti fork! Serving noodles is awful without the right tool.This set is perfect. All the functionality you need without any of the toxic, meltable plastic. Each piece is lightweight but seemingly quite durable. We're three weeks in with these and have had no problems, and we don't anticipate any problems with durability.The utensils look great and are easy enough to maintain by hand washing. I personally would not put these in the dishwasher.Overall I'm impressed and would definitely order again.

This acacia wooden utensil set comes with everything you need for cooking, and I couldn’t be happier with it! I’ve used a mix of silicone and other materials in the past, but I decided to switch to wood since it’s been a trusted cooking tool for centuries. These utensils work great with my cast-iron and nonstick cookware, and they feel sturdy and well-made.Just be sure to hand wash them to keep them in great condition. For the price, this set is an excellent investment that will last for years. Highly recommend!

First off this set is not 100% acacia wood the stirrer seems to have a standard silicone covered wire head with the wooden handle.I like this set because wood is very pan friendly and if you leave a spoon in a hot pan most likely it will not burn after a short time or even burn me. Acacia wood is a sustainable hardwood available throughout the world. I have an acacia cutting board that I like very much. A relative likes this brand so I trousered the acacia wood utensils set. I was not disappointed, they look great, fell sturdy in my hand, and perform well. The tongs are 100% wood and seem durable but shall see. This set is great for to kitchen!

I ordered the 8 piece CAROTE wooden kitchen utensils set, made of Acacia wood. I have been reading that some research suggests that there's a chance that black plastic in particular may contain low levels of toxic chemicals, including flame retardants, which can leach into food during cooking. Many of our utensils are black. So wood is the better way to go which made me decide to get this set. One reviewer mentioned a strong odor out of the box but I did not find any odor at all. The negative I had was that it was extremely difficult to open the cardboard carton since every thick panel was glued tight as a drum. I had to use a flat head screwdriver to pr it open. Once I finally got it open I find that every one of the eight pieces can be easily used. I am very impressed with the quality and the functionality of the pieces. It also would make a very nice gift but forward the recipient about the difficulty in opening the carton.

This set of wood utensils exceeded my expectations! I have purchased several sets of these wooden utensils in the past and find that many times they are rough or don't work well. This set is just great and smooth to the touch without that rough wood feeling. Also something I appreciate is the thin edge of the spatula tools, they can actually be used to flip pancakes or stir scrambled eggs. The wood handled whisker is quite the bonus, I've never seen one in a set like this. I actually had to find a bigger container to hold all of these, but also they have holes in the handles so they can be hung up, which is extra convenient. Overall a great set and one I would gift to someone.
