15 mins after installing the C02 detector it started going off with a high reading. Thus a visit from the fire department. The detector was faulty even reading those high readings outside in the fresh air....you get what you pay for! Junk

I bought a 3 pack detectors and after 5 months 2 of the detectors malfunction making a non stop buzzing noise. The 3rd one might have also but is in a motor home that is in storage. The issue for me was the batteries were not long life batteries. I put in alkaline batteries and it seems to have solve the problem.

This year, 2025, HUD Section 8 requires new smoke detectors and CO2 detectors. These meet the minimal requirements. 10 year nonchargeable, nonreplaceable batteries. One-way mounting screws, and visible light alarm.

Bought the 3 pack. Put one by my gas furnace and water heater in basement then one at top of basement stairs and other one in the hallway. So far so good. Well worth the money for the safety of protecting my family.
