overall look nice, sounds are OK, strings easy to press, but 2 frets are scratchy, and strings not quite durable. I wonder how it feel if change to carbon strings.

I bought this as a kick around Ukulele to save wear on my quality instrument. It is not bad to be honest. Not sure why it has shoulder strap lugs (not exactly needed or generally used... ever). The fit and finish is pretty no bad, though I will be putting a gloss lacquer finish on it eventually. It has a brighter tone than I am used to, but I like it. Switched it to a low G right off the bat. Now the con: This is NOT Koa... not even the thin laminate. Not by a long shot. The laminate 'may' be Acacia, but most definitely NOT Koa. Koa is endemic to Hawaii, which is where I live. Acacia involvers many different species. Koa is VERY distinct in grain appearance and colorations and has a much richer grain and a lot of gold tone. The wood is most certainly NOT exported to China and is extremely expensive just for the lumber here locally, and is endangered and protected. The Ukulele photos I posted: Instrument on the right is a top quality well over a $1000 Kamaka Ukulele made of Koa. Instrument on the left is the Amazon cheapy listed here, and is NOT Koa. The photos speak a thousand words. My point is, don't claim that the Ukulele is something that is not. Side note: I didn't expect it to be Koa when I ordered it, and knew it was a false claim.

Always wanted to buy one. They look so good, the material feels fantastic and the design of the neck is so so so good, so is the case it comes in.The sound is good as well. It is great for everyone to learn or play is casually for friends and family. If you wanna play it professionally, you wanna buy the other type with the EQ and that can be fitted to a cable.

I'm a beginner so I have an untrained ear but I love how this ukulele sounds, I switched the G string for a low G as I prefer how it sounds. The wood is a little rough in parts but nothing major...and I the accessories are very helpful.Left handed players.....it was easy to string for left-handed use, the only issue I have is the fret markers are only on one side of the neck so if you switch to left handed you will need to put your own markers on the other side of the neck x

This attractive laminated Acacia finish uke is reasonably well made and gives a good sound, so should please beginners and some improvers. Not too expensive, but does not stand out on quality by comparison to the other similar priced brands on Amazon. However, this particular instrument came with a rather high action which required some adjustment before playing well. This may be an isolated feature of this individual item, but is worth noting as it could disappoint and frustrate some beginners who might not know how to deal with it.The accessories are useful to a beginner but they look pretty cheap, particularly the gig bag which is padded and functional but I have seen better.( Just to add a bit of background. The brand Caramel imported ukuleles via Amazon and EBay a few years ago and we purchased and regularly play several of the examples they produced at the time. We found their build quality to be exceptional for the price. They included such features as solid wood body, pin bridge, and importantly, a truss rod neck. All of these features made them attractive to the more seasoned players and performers, so they really stood out from the crowd on quality, all of these features are now lost, presumably due to the need to sell at a lower given price point .)Overall, the ukulele is reasonable for the price paid ( £55 ) and should please most people for what they pay.

Wanted a tenor after my wife bought me a baritone so I thought what the he'll. I will look around for a cheap one. So I stop at a few shops and guitar center i played different brands kala fender breedlove Luna while they were ok they were all 150 - 200 bucks. So I got on Amazon and found caramel like my baritone. I found this little jem it came in two day I got it out of the box and tunes it right up has a great tone crisp with great sustain for a small body strings are ok but not hateful i will change them some time soon. The action was close but a little high for my taste a little sand paper and the bridge was adjusted neck was strait tunners are good i like the black metal the only bad i found needed some conditioner on the neck frets. We're good did have one sharp edge a nail file and it was gone. All in all a good buy like all instruments they will need set up to the person going to play them. No matter the coast i am very happy with this ukulele and I think you would be to
