Loved this onion keeper until I put it in the dishwasher on the top rack. It warped and would no longer close, so I got the brilliant idea of buying it again and only handwashing. One brain fart later the new one ended up in the dishwasher on the top rack and it too warped. If only the lid was as thick as the bottom it might survive the dishwasher. Moving on in search of a different product.

This gadget confines the onion odor to the onion keeper, leaving a fresh-smelling refrigerator without the smell of cut onion permeating everything, including even the freezer ice. I highly recommend this cute little onion keeper. The bottom screws on easily, it is air-tight, and it does its job wonderfully at a good price. Getcha one!

It is smaller than I thought. Does not hold most my onions. Need to cut other half to fit onion in.

This is probably the BEST onion saver I've tried. I love the heavy weight, the reasonable size, and even the color. Some said that it wasn't large enough...are they trying to put pumpkins in there? I am able to put half of a large onion in mine. The base fits by screwing on. The onion smell is completely contained, the onion saves fresh and moist for days. The only downside is after putting it in the dishwasher, the top warped into an oval. I'm buying it again and not putting it in the dishwasher!

Works beautifully- Can't smell the chopped onions, and even two days later, no gross film on them. Fits into the butter compartment of my fridge too! Screws on and off easily, and I love that you can see into it to know how much you have left. I even stuck the remains of a package of mushrooms in there, and two days later, they were still fresh. Highly recommend.

The onion saver successfully keeps onion odor contained in the keeper. I think it designed well and is easy to clean. The only issue I have is that most of my onions are too large in diameter to fit in the saver. So, a little trimming or using more of a fresh onion is required to make the left over onion fit inside the saver.

Before I got the Fox Run Tulz Onion Saver, I kept onions in plastic containers, which wound up smelling like onions. Since this container is specifically for onions, that isn't a concern. The container is easy to spot in the refrigerator. It seals tightly which keeps the onion fresh and the smell out of the refrigerator. It's a great product for the price I paid.
