Ridiculously overpriced. Did work perfectly!

The rubber grommet for the Thudbuster is fine. I looked everywhere on the page for a quantity and couldn't find one. This really should be corrected. Also the product doesn't come from Cane Creek. The thudbuster itself is great.

This is exactly what I needed, no complaints other than price.

had to replace some 2004 Thudbuster shocks that had deteriorated (and were too soft in any case). I bought 1 #5 (medium) + 1 #7 (firm); Just right for my 175# weight.

The original lasted 2-3 years and probably around 5000 miles, then they began to bulge a little. The result was that the thudbuster was starting from an already depressed position, leaving less room for travel over the bumps. Since I'm pretty big, and we sometimes ride on mountain bike trails, I worried this might eventually lead to breaking the bolt as well. We're several months into this elastomer, with no signs of wear to date.In order to maintain safety and get the thudbusters back to doing their job more completely, we replaced the old elastomers, and the result was that good 'ol Thudbuster comfort we love so well.(Just like the #5)
