Cane Creek makes high quality headsets that are easy to maintain and can last a lifetime. The bearings in the junk headset that came on my e-MTB failed after 4 months of hard riding. I replaced the failed headset with a Cane Creek 40, and I'm very happy with the result!

I ordered this instead of paying for the brand new, and I wasn't disappointed. The headset arrived although in a used box (who cares), but the headset itself was new, the bearings top notch. Big recommend.

Very easy to install. I decided that the caps should be inserted (pressed) with some carbon paste so it will be better attached to the frame. Will probably be difficult to get the headset caps out someday. the inside got a nice thin layer of grease to avoide moisture and to allow easy movement. crown race can be installed upsidedown. pay attention to the manual or consult a YouTube proffetional video.
