If you are considering a 110 series headset, your expectations are likely “ ruggedly perfect “. This one is. The color matches my bike, install was easy with the right tools. Seals are tight, with a noticeable drag during adjustment, but not noticeable during riding. Has performed perfectly on our tandem, over pretty rough roads.

The headset looks like good quality but was it suppose to come with a crown race for the fork? If not, 1-star rating for this brand. And the headset that arrived looks nothing like the picture shown. It is a different model. It has different graphics on the races and the races are much larger in diameter with a flatter profile.

Excellent, very tight clean fit and finish. The sealed bearings make my front end feel like it's spinning on glass. Quite a beautiful piece of jewelry to add onto my 20 in. 2000 FIT series 1 street/freestyle bmx bike. This configuration with the fine fit and machining gives that standard threadless headset look with the feeling of a nice sealed integrated headset. Install was smooth and straight forward. So far I'm stoked!

Cane Creek bearings are highly underrated. This is the next-best thing to Chris King in my opinion. Machining quality and finish are excellent. Cartridges are easily replaced. I have owned several of their bearings, both OEM and upgrade headsets. Their basic stuff is on par with comparatively priced Tange-Seiki, and I like the seals better. The top-end Cane Creek products are hard to beat; unless you want to pay double (110 & 40 Series). There is no comparison to even the best product from Aheadset.

Ordered Red. Worked well, but top cup had a darker anodized red finish than the bottom cup. Not acceptable for the price. Contemplated sending back, but I needed the bike in action that day. Not as pictured in red. It's also a pretty deep red.

Great headset. Significantly burlier than the high-end headset it replaced. The Cane Creek also has many seals to protect the bearings that the other brand did not have.

I've installed many headsets over the years and this thing just feels like quality both in my hand and on the my bike. Super smooth bearing feel, this is quality in every way. I'm a cross country rider and don't ever see myself needing to replace this. 110 year warranty and made in the USA. Awesome.

Very well machined and built headset. Fit and finish is top notch and I really like the fact that is american made. Keep in mind that this will be a tad stiff at first compared to other headsets you may be used to, due to the double sealed bearings. Play with the steerer for a while and make it snug, and then work it for a while back and forth. It will work itself in and will be liquid smooth. This headset should last many years if not the life of the bike- I would highly recommend them!
