This is the correct Can-Am oil and filter replacement kit for the Can-Am Ryker. It's packaged by the manufacturer and it wasn't adulterated by anyone that packed or shipped it.

First off, changing the oil on a Ryker is a pain. That has nothing to do with this kit though. I just thought you should be aware. :)The items in this kit are good quality and it provides everything you need to do the oil change yourself. You’ll save quite a bit of money but you’ll probably say a few choice words regarding the engineers that designed the cap for the oil filter. And two drain plugs. Why?Anyway, if you want to do it yourself, this kit will help.

No worry about getting all the right items. It's easy to bash an OEM rebranded product but for the normal rider this is perfect solution, and you save time by doing it on your schedule.Process extremely easy, YT has countless videos to help you if you're not already familiar or confident. You can do this! And remember to dispose correctly. No need to be a lazy a$$, any auto part store will take the used products.

Everything arrived conveniently in one package. In my opinion, very easy to use. Everything you need (except the tools) as far as oil bottles, replacement O-ring for oil filter cover, new oil filter, and new crush washers for main magnetic drain plug, and secondary (smaller) drain plug underneath the Ryker. I just read my owner’s manual, coupled with a few YouTube videos and was off to the races. TWO THINGS! Please be sure to clean your drain plugs after draining old oil, before putting on new crush washers, and be sure not to ‘cross thread’ when re-installing. Each bolt requires their own unique torque setting. Be sure you are aware of each and torque correctly. Last thing, the kit comes with 4 bottles of oil. 3 large and one smaller one. The 3 large bottles are needed but the fourth smaller bottle may not be fully needed to reach your middle of ‘min - max’ range that is recommended per Can Am. They recommend bringing the bike up to ‘operating temperature’ and then check the dipstick within 10 seconds after turning the bike off. Please be careful to not ‘under’ or ‘over’ fill. Do not just empty all four bottles in and not verify your oil levels. Each bike is a bit different, so mine only needs 3 large bottles, and a few ounces out of the fourth smallest bottle. It takes some time but you want to verify you are spot on with your correct oil level when finished. After that, you will be rewarded with peace of mind, a fun season of riding ahead, and a job well done.
