Your cart is empty.The Camco Fridge Door Block holds your fridge and freezer door open during storage to promote airflow and prevent mildew and odors, and also prevents the door from swinging open if your RV or trailer is uneven. The unique drawstring design adjusts to accommodate doors thick and thin. A high strength magnet attaches to the inside of the fridge to hold the block in place, and the drawstring can tighten to the thickness of the door, holding the door open but preventing it from opening further. When you're not using the Fridge Door Block, stick it to the outside of your refrigerator so that you don't lose it.

Super easy to use. I'm not sure why it is difficult for a previous user? Magnet seems to be strong enough. I'm usually not driving with the door open. Definetly recommend.

First, it works. However, the size of the part with the magnet (the hold open standoff part) is too small and only works on my fridge in exactly one position -- if it is positioned off (up or down) by a millimeter or so, it won't hold the doors equally open, and this then compromises the performance of the other side in holding the doors from swinging open. The other side is also too small to really engage with the doors well. The slider for holding position on the string is weak and easily defeated. But this device does work for a stationary situation. If a bit larger, much stronger magnet, and more slider holding power, could be made to work during travel such as taking in for and leaving in at service. (Of course when we're on a trip the fridge is on, so don't need it for that.)

Worked just as described. Strong magnet Holds door in place while in storage. Other reviewers complained about setting this up on frig and then moving RV and it comes dislodge. I bought this for storage purposes only. The issue I had, I would use the factory slide bars to keep the doors from sealing shut while in storage. I would walk by the frig, barely touch the doors and they would close, and half the time I didn't realize it. This solved that problem for me. Once installed while in storage the doors are staying open until you remove this device. no more accidently closing.

Magnet seems strong and unit is easy to install. Holds in place well to keep doors ajar to promote air flow. Doors can’t swing open any farther than you set them at and can’t close fully even if bumped.Not particularly an attractive item but it serves it’s purpose well and that’s what I want!

Le produit est sûrement bien fait pour les frigos à deux portes, mais je ne sais pas pourquoi que sur le site ils marquent qu'il fonctionne également pour un frigo à une porte. Pour moi ça n'a pas fonctionné. Par contre pour un deux portes je suis certain qu'il fait l'affaire. L'aimant semble bien fonctionné.

Works great, bought this because my husband never remembers to pop the fridge doors open after putting the trailer in storage. The magnet keeps the doors open but also stuck to the frame so I can attach this before he drives away and not worry. I never remember how to fit it, so takes about 30 seconds of fiddling everytime, but waaay better then cleaning mold out every time!

We have a trailer with a 12V fridge. The fridge is made for an off-grid tiny home, not for a moving camper trailer. As such, the latch that is supposed to keep the door closed, or slightly open (when not in use) is terrible and the doors swing open all the time. This item looked like a good solution. In concept, I believe it is. In practice...it sucks. The magnet on this is so weak that it would never hold my doors slightly open, except when we weren't moving, or the unit was in storage. Plus, if you don't have a fridge with handles that are flush with the door, the plastic circle doesn't hold well. The last straw was that the push button locking mechanism on the string is so loose that it does not hold in place for long. From soup to nuts, this item was a complete bust!

This is just what I what after. Our RV fridge doesn't have those little things you can stick on the tabs (different design) so finding that was a good alternative. At first I thought the magnets had no strength but it turned out our fridge's outer edge was lacking metal this could stick to! So I bought a small package of stick on metal plates and put one of those where I needed and this is working great. I like how you don't have to have the door open 3-5 inches... this lets me have it cracked open about an inch and the doors aren't in the way as you pass by. Great product.Forgot to mention that the round part was not large enough to grab the doors. I used a bracket from a ceiling fan mount to give it that extra grab and this works perfectly

Magnet is too weak and does not stick on to the fridge. The spacing between the doors is bad and barley works on the fridge.

I had hoped I would be able to make this work, but no such luck. It looks like it would do the job on the right kind of RV fridge. Mine is a Norcold and the handles/latches are between the doors (on top of fridge and bottom of freezer), instead of on the sides of the doors, so the doors are too far apart for this device to reach them both. There is also no metal for the magnet to attach to. Nothing is wrong with the device itself
